Semi-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

The pizza had been eaten, there might have been a child or two traumatized by Stiles' choice in movies but at least there hadn't been any injuries despite the fact it was a bunch of children inside the creeper mansion. All in all it was a pretty successful sleepover for one that Stiles was half-responsible for.

Sadly now there was a bunch of adults and one teenager to deal with a morning after. Surely this won't be awkward. Or painful. Derek was involved so it might end up being painful.

For Stiles' part he was still snuggled down in his sleeping bag. He was asleep, but talking to himself and had probably been talking to himself for various periods of the night. Mostly about Lydia but sometimes you could hear him trying to convince a lizard to let him out of a pool.

"Get out." Derek punctuated this request with a firm kick at Stiles' legs.

Jack woke up cold and cramped. His small self was much more comfortable sleeping in a corner than Jack was these days.

He sat up, touched a sore spot on his ankle, and contemplated whether he was obliged to stay for breakfast or whether he could just sneak out.

Hey, the escape route was wide open. And there was a ticked off werewolf probably making it seem more and more appealing. Good morning, Jack. Sleep well? Derek did not.

"Hi, Jack," Stiles said, giving him a sleepy wave. So much for sneaking out.

Yeah, that had been one weird evening/weekend, with the children and the pony and everything. Mike was looking a little wary as he emerged from his bed room to see what the situation was now that it was Monday.

"... Oh, okay. I guess it really did work out like everyone said it would."

"Tooooold you!" Stiles said happily. "Derek kicked me."

Tattle like the wind, Stiles!

"It usually does," Jack said sheepishly. By now he felt somewhat more presentable and awake, and somewhat less grumpy. "What I always wonder is why our clothes change with us."

And Mike got a special glare. For making him think his family abandoned him in Maryland. Dick.

"HI!" Yeah, there was still a pink pony here. And she was way more cheerful and friendly. "You must be Mike! I'm Pinkie Pie!"

Kitty was really, really sorry for missing this yesterday. But she was making up for it this morning by coming by with two carrying thingies of coffee, which presented a problem when she went to knock like a polite person.

So she phased her head through the front door and called, "Good moooorning!"

"Kitty!" Oh it was a good thing Stiles couldn't actually see the front door at the moment because he would have flipped out. "Living room!"

See, he was trying to be obnoxious and cheerful because it annoyed Derek and Derek freaking kicked him so he deserved to be annoyed.

"... Did you just come through the front door?" Mike wondered, simultaneously thinking that better not mean the front door was now busted somehow.

And then he got mercifully distracted. "Is that coffee?"

Awww, expecting actually words from Derek at this point. Not even for the sweet lure of caffeine. He was all glaring, all the time.

Aaand that would be Clint trying to disappear behind a piece of furniture at the sound of Kitty's voice. Such a brave grownup he was.

"You are a wonderful woman," Jack decided, when he spotted the coffee. The phasing was weird, but he'd seen weirder. "Good morning, person I don't think I've ever actually spoken to."

He vaguely recognized Kitty, but there was a whole bar rivalry to maintain.

These particular wolves had not slept over, but they had figured out that the weekend had been one of those types, and so curiosity was leading them back to the house where they'd met Derek, to see if he was still a child or if he really was supposed to be taller.

At least Firekeeper remembered to knock instead of just barging in?

[ooc: super-slow-play for a bit as I study for a midterm, but damnit I wanted to throw my wolves at people one last time before they go back to some more canon.]

"Door's open!" No, he didn't live here but he didn't particularly care about that right now.

Well, they made even less sense as an adult than they had when he was a child. So, Derek's glaring took on a nicely confused edge once Stiles had been so kind as to invite them in.

"You know, after the pink pony, I don't think I should be surprised but would you look at that, I am."

"Cute wolf." Kitty had a dragon, what was she gonna do, judge?

Well, here were some wolves Jack was not inclined to roll his eyes at.

"You remembered I wanted to see Blind seer before you left again," he said. "Hi."

Pinkie lay sprawled out in the corner tiny-her had picked to hide in, snoring cartoonishly, her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth.

Well. At least she'd ended up with a pillow.

Well, at least Stiles hadn't been the only one making noises in his sleep. He had once seen something on TV where a horse kicked a dude in the face for startling it so he wasn't about to shake Pinkie awake or anything.

But he would stand a few feet away and stay her name. "Um, Pinkie? Pinkieeee."

Clint had slept, well, like a baby last night, but he'd woken up feeling a little less polite. "What the actual fuck?" he said, his eyes going wide as his memories kicked in and he realized where he was and more importantly, who he'd spent the night hanging out with. "Oh god."

"Morning, Mr. Barton!" Stiles hadn't been adorable and cutesy last night, so he could afford to be cheerful this morning.
