Semi-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

The pizza had been eaten, there might have been a child or two traumatized by Stiles' choice in movies but at least there hadn't been any injuries despite the fact it was a bunch of children inside the creeper mansion. All in all it was a pretty successful sleepover for one that Stiles was half-responsible for.

Sadly now there was a bunch of adults and one teenager to deal with a morning after. Surely this won't be awkward. Or painful. Derek was involved so it might end up being painful.

[For those that slept over! And anyone else around too as well]

"I wouldn't go that far," Mike said, sounding somewhat amused. Although it was a little wry. Okay, a lot. "But I don't feel like my brain is leaking out my ears?"

"Well then you might survive this place after all," Stiles said, laughing. "At least the weird stuff is more funny than traumatizing more often than not."

"I hope you're right," Mike said, sincerely. "Because I'd hate to have to hightail it immediately when I just got a house and everything."

Even if it was this house.

"That would be a waste of time and money," he said. "And it would give Derek too much joy if you left and we can't let that happen."

"He might even crack a smile," Mike guessed. "And I have a feeling that would be terrifying."

Oh he had no idea.

"Oh god, don't ever let Derek smile in front of you," Stiles warned him. "It's horrifying."

"I'll keep that in mind." He could totally imagine it, actually. "I think I'm safe from that, though. I don't seem to be evoking much happiness in the guy, and I'm not even really looking to."

"Do you think I evoke happiness in Derek?" Stiles asked. "Oh no no no, he smiles to scare me."

"That's weird." And that was completely obvious, Mike. "I have the weirdest squatter in existence, lucky me."
