Semi-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

The pizza had been eaten, there might have been a child or two traumatized by Stiles' choice in movies but at least there hadn't been any injuries despite the fact it was a bunch of children inside the creeper mansion. All in all it was a pretty successful sleepover for one that Stiles was half-responsible for.

Sadly now there was a bunch of adults and one teenager to deal with a morning after. Surely this won't be awkward. Or painful. Derek was involved so it might end up being painful.

These particular wolves had not slept over, but they had figured out that the weekend had been one of those types, and so curiosity was leading them back to the house where they'd met Derek, to see if he was still a child or if he really was supposed to be taller.

At least Firekeeper remembered to knock instead of just barging in?

[ooc: super-slow-play for a bit as I study for a midterm, but damnit I wanted to throw my wolves at people one last time before they go back to some more canon.]

"Door's open!" No, he didn't live here but he didn't particularly care about that right now.

Well, that didn't sound like the child they'd met yesterday. But hey, permission was permission. It wasn't like they had any idea Stiles didn't live here.

So... that'd be a girl and a pony-sized wolf making their way into the living room. "Hello." Yeah, Firekeeper's conversational skills were... not the best.

Don't worry, Stiles talked enough for the both of them. And then some.

"Hoooly god that's a big wolf," Stiles said. "Not the biggest I've seen, but still, did not expect that."

"Has you seen Royal Wolves before?" Firekeeper had to ask, a little surprised. Blind Seer's head nearly reached her shoulder, after all. "Or does you mean shape-changing kind?"

"Shape-changing," Stiles said. "This is the biggest actual wolf I've seen... actually the only wolf I've seen up close."

Blind Seer gave Stiles a nod, twitching his tail.

"Blind Seer say is good to meet you," Firekeeper offered. "I think so as well." Anyone who hung out with werewolves was people worth knowing, after all.

Well, they made even less sense as an adult than they had when he was a child. So, Derek's glaring took on a nicely confused edge once Stiles had been so kind as to invite them in.

"You is taller than you was before," Firekeeper observed wryly.

"It happens apparently."

Firekeeper nodded. "To me, before, as well. Though not this time." Obviously. "Is not so bad," she added with a shrug.

"Maybe." He looked from her to the giant wolf, then back. "You're from here?"

"You know, after the pink pony, I don't think I should be surprised but would you look at that, I am."

"Is, yes!" Firekeeper nodded. "Fandom probably never going to stop with the surprising," she offered wisely. Sorry about that, Mike. Really.

Mike huffed out a laugh. "I'm starting to get that. The wolf's... tame, right? I'm not about to get horribly mauled or anything?"

"I don't know," Firekeeper said, looking thoughtful. "Is you tame?" she asked Blind Seer.

Blind Seer let out a low, rumbling growl and then a bark of what... probably was meant to pass as laughter.

"He say not tame, no, but he know rules of who is okay to hunt and who is not," Firekeeper translated.

"Okay." Mike was still going to make sure to be extra careful and respectful. "Hi, I'm Mike, by the way. I'm one of the people who actually live here."

"Cute wolf." Kitty had a dragon, what was she gonna do, judge?

Blind Seer cocked his head at Kitty, uttering a low whine that sounded vaguely offended. Cute? Cute?

Firekeeper, meanwhile, was just going to hold up a hand to her mouth and bite down on it in an attempt to cover her laughter. It didn't work too well, and after a moment she gave up. "I not think any have called him cute before," she said.

"Everyone takes offense to cute today," Kitty said, almost laughing. "It's a compliment, I swear!"

"Maybe because recent days remind them they was not always so fierce," Firekeeper said solemnly. She hadn't regressed this time, she was allowed to be amused.

"Okay. Then fierce wolf you've got there," Kitty tried again.

Well, here were some wolves Jack was not inclined to roll his eyes at.

"You remembered I wanted to see Blind seer before you left again," he said. "Hi."

"Am sorry there was no chance to do so during festival things," Firekeeper offered. "Was you small?"

"I was four and not a wolf at all," Jack nodded. "It was more than a hundred years ago at home, so I was rather out of my element. Mostly I stuffed myself."
