Semi-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

The pizza had been eaten, there might have been a child or two traumatized by Stiles' choice in movies but at least there hadn't been any injuries despite the fact it was a bunch of children inside the creeper mansion. All in all it was a pretty successful sleepover for one that Stiles was half-responsible for.

Sadly now there was a bunch of adults and one teenager to deal with a morning after. Surely this won't be awkward. Or painful. Derek was involved so it might end up being painful.

"Thank you, Kitty Pryde," Jack said, and took a sip from the coffee before he spoke again. "I'm Jack Priest. Out of curiosity, why are you the coffee fairy today?"

"Because I'm too nice. Also, because boyfriend, friend, friend even if he won't admit it, new employee, only talked to him twice but he's destined to be my friend," she said, pointing to Clint, Pinkie, Derek, Mike, and Stiles in turn, "and I had to see this."

Jack laughed. "Did they live up to expectations?" he asked. "I recognize I'm the extra person, here."

"Well, I just met them, too," she said, nodding towards Firekeeper and Blind Seer. "And I almost expected bloodshed this morning. So you could say it exceeds expectations."

"She graduated a year behind me, I think," Jack hazarded. He was always a bit fuzzy on grades for younger students. "And if you told me a week ago that this crowd would all be waking up in one place, I would have guessed on bloodshed too. I think we're all too sore from sleeping funny to fight."

"I was going to assume there was some kind of sugar crash from last night to blame it on," she admitted.

"The sugar crash is in there too. I don't even remember everything I ate," Jack mused. 'Is it possible for a 5-year-old to eat half a pizza? I feel like I did."

"A small one, maybe. I'm so sad I missed out on all this," she said.
