Semi-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

The pizza had been eaten, there might have been a child or two traumatized by Stiles' choice in movies but at least there hadn't been any injuries despite the fact it was a bunch of children inside the creeper mansion. All in all it was a pretty successful sleepover for one that Stiles was half-responsible for.

Sadly now there was a bunch of adults and one teenager to deal with a morning after. Surely this won't be awkward. Or painful. Derek was involved so it might end up being painful.

"Oooo, you're right! I bet people totally misunderstand his grumpiness all the time!"

"Well... I think he's just grumpy," Kitty clarified, "but could still hear nice things now and then."

"Of course he's grumpy," Pinkie said. Even she couldn't miss that. "But that doesn't mean he doesn't like things. I bet people think it means he's mean."

"Maybe a tiny bit mean," Kitty said slowly, because she'd heard some of the things Derek did to Stiles, "but you might be right."

Pinkie had managed to miss all of that. "Usually, ponies like that just need a good friend," she said.

Such was the magical power of friendship.

"This is what I'm thinking," she agreed. "When I first met one of my friends, I was kind of scared of him because of the way he looked, but he knew I didn't mean anything by it." In her defense, he was fuzzy and blue and had fangs and a tail, and she'd been a pretty sheltered thirteen-year-old. "So he kept trying to be my friend and show me he's not so bad, and now he's one of my best friends. It happens."
