Since Stiles considered himself a very giving and amiable fiance he agreed to Derek's suggestion of spending a few days before Christmas on a romantic getaway to the woods. Stiles had just stipulated that a) they didn't sleep in a tent b) the cabin had wifi and c) there was a fast food joint that can be driven to in less than twenty minutes.

"Probably eat me alive," Stiles said. "But not before running around in the woods naked like a crazy person."

With another put upon sigh, he tilted his head to kiss Stiles. "No, I said I would for the trip."

Stiles smiled and kissed Derek back. "Still want to do something else for you."

"Is it because I brought you burgers?" Derek teased, kissing him again slowly.

"They were good burgers," he joked before nipping at Derek's lip playfully.

"Had to keep you happy," Derek replied, pulling Stiles onto his lap. For cuddling. Yes.

Stiles took the hint and did his part to get onto Derek's lap, straddling his hips. "You have a talent for that."

Derek smiled like the romantic idiot he was beneath all that facial hair and muscles. "You do too."

Stiles leaned in to kiss Derek again. "I really do like the cabin."

"You like that it's private," Derek replied, running his hand up Stiles' back under his shirt.
