Since Stiles considered himself a very giving and amiable fiance he agreed to Derek's suggestion of spending a few days before Christmas on a romantic getaway to the woods. Stiles had just stipulated that a) they didn't sleep in a tent b) the cabin had wifi and c) there was a fast food joint that can be driven to in less than twenty minutes.

He didn't think he was asking for a lot, especially considering he was in the wilderness. In December.

Which only made Derek grin and kiss him again. "You like it."

Stiles didn't answer, just kissed Derek back. He wrapped his arms around his neck and just enjoyed the cliche of kissing someone by the fire.

Next up, tenderly making love on some sort of rug next to the fire. As one does.

Derek moved his hands down to cup Stiles' ass and pull him as close as he could, kissing him back.

Stiles smiled against Derek's lips, pressing himself against Derek as much as he could. "Want me to run outside with you later?"

"You won't complain about the cold?" Derek asked, tilting his head to nip at Stiles' throat.

He knew you, Stiles. He knew.

"I'll be bundled up," he said. "Not sexy at all."

"So, you'll be slow, is what you're saying."

"We both know I was gonna be slow no matter what." And he'd probably fall a few times.

"I'm sure I could get you to move faster," Derek replied with a toothy grin.

Stiles grinned. "That a threat or a promise?"

"Both," Derek suggested, moving forward to topple him down onto the couch for another kiss.

Stiles made a pleased noise, wrapping his arms and legs around Derek to keep clinging to him. This whole cabin thing was the best idea they've had in awhile.

Even though they were essentially doing what they did at home.

New location! New places to have sex on or against!

"Maybe we can get you a basket to carry while you run," Derek teased, only pulling away to pull off Stiles' shirt.

Stiles laughed at the image, even as he was trying to get his shirt off. "Oh man that'd be ridiculous."

"Full of terrible fast food," Derek continued, only encouraged by the laughter. And the bare skin.

Equally influenced by both as he ran his hands up Stiles' stomach and chest.

"You love the fast food as much as I do," Stiles said. "You love anything involving a dead animal."

"I eat vegetables." Mostly because of Stiles.

"But do you enjoy them?" he asked, sliding his hands under Derek's shirt.

"Yes," he lied, leaning down to kiss him again before it could get called out.

That was a pretty good way of getting him to shut up. He kissed Derek back, working on getting Derek's shirt off rather than argue.

Derek was clever like that.

Or stubborn. One of those two things. He pulled away just long enough to pull his shirt up and over his head before going right back to kissing him.

Stiles ran his hands over the exposed skin, remaining gentle for now. He was content keeping this sweet for now.

Like a semi-dirty Hallmark moment.
