Since Stiles considered himself a very giving and amiable fiance he agreed to Derek's suggestion of spending a few days before Christmas on a romantic getaway to the woods. Stiles had just stipulated that a) they didn't sleep in a tent b) the cabin had wifi and c) there was a fast food joint that can be driven to in less than twenty minutes.

He didn't think he was asking for a lot, especially considering he was in the wilderness. In December.

Stiles grinned. "That a threat or a promise?"

"Both," Derek suggested, moving forward to topple him down onto the couch for another kiss.

Stiles made a pleased noise, wrapping his arms and legs around Derek to keep clinging to him. This whole cabin thing was the best idea they've had in awhile.

Even though they were essentially doing what they did at home.

"Maybe we can get you a basket to carry while you run," Derek teased, only pulling away to pull off Stiles' shirt.

Stiles laughed at the image, even as he was trying to get his shirt off. "Oh man that'd be ridiculous."

"Full of terrible fast food," Derek continued, only encouraged by the laughter. And the bare skin.

Equally influenced by both as he ran his hands up Stiles' stomach and chest.

"You love the fast food as much as I do," Stiles said. "You love anything involving a dead animal."

"I eat vegetables." Mostly because of Stiles.

"But do you enjoy them?" he asked, sliding his hands under Derek's shirt.

"Yes," he lied, leaning down to kiss him again before it could get called out.

That was a pretty good way of getting him to shut up. He kissed Derek back, working on getting Derek's shirt off rather than argue.

Derek was clever like that.

Or stubborn. One of those two things. He pulled away just long enough to pull his shirt up and over his head before going right back to kissing him.

Stiles ran his hands over the exposed skin, remaining gentle for now. He was content keeping this sweet for now.

Like a semi-dirty Hallmark moment.

Derek hummed, dropping down to support himself on his forearm so he could run his other hand over Stiles' thigh. "Good holiday?"

"Best holiday ever," he said, spreading his legs some. "You've outdone yourself."

"Next time we can go somewhere warm." A beat. "With wifi."

"You know me so well," he murmured, kissing Derek again. "Thank you. For everything."

Derek pulled on Stiles' thigh to hike it up a little more to give him a little friction. "Even if I have to wear terrible underwear for it," he said, sounding more amused than annoyed at least.

"The underwear isn't terrible," he said, tightening his leg around Derek's waist. "It's adorable."

"Will you also be wearing a pair?"

Stiles shook his head. "Nope. Just for you."

"That doesn't sound fair," Derek replied, leaning down to bite a nice little bruise onto Stiles' neck.

"Never said I was fair," he said, tilting his neck towards Derek. "It's my Christmas present for me."

"Merry Christmas," Derek said dryly.

And since Stiles was so kind as to give him better access for hickies, Derek wasn't about to move away any time soon. He was, though, trying to unfasten Stiles' pants without looking.

Stiles made a pleased noise, enjoying Derek's non-subtle attempts to get him naked. He slid his hands down the back of Derek's jeans, squeezing his ass. Because he lived to be unhelpful.
