Opposite of Creepy Mansion | Tuesday Night

Some nightmares last night had led to Stiles sleeping during the day to make up for lost time which in turn led to him knowing he wasn't gonna sleep tonight. So he was downstairs sprawled out on the couch with some popcorn, scrolling through Netflix to load up some 80's action movies into the queue.

They'd all meld together by 3 a.m. but that was okay with him.

Derek sighed, looking up at the ceiling. "Do you want me to make you something or not?"

"I'm good." Now he was just being stubborn. "'Cause popcorn is good."

"So, if I order a pizza, I can get it meatlovers," Derek replied, leaning against the side of the couch.

Like a douche bag.

"If you want to," he said. "You can eat it in your room too."

Derek pulled back, frowning at him. He sighed before going to to kitchen to get himself something to drink. Okay, mostly to get his bearings back. But shhh.

Hey, Stiles had anxiety dreams all night, cut him a break.

He did seem to realize he was kind of being a dick, if his sighing gave anything away.

There were many varieties of sighs! Many of which meant Derek was a jackass. Which was true and all, but he didn't think he'd been extra dickish lately.

He stayed in the entrance to the living room to watch Stiles. Because he was creepy.

"Sorry." And that was all he planned to say about that. Unless pressed.

Was this a relationship trap? Because it seemed like a relationship trap.

"It's fine."

[robinonadderall]

"No it's not," he said. "I'm in a bad mood but that's not an excuse."

"Do you want me to go upstairs?"

[robinonadderall]

"Only if you want to," he said. "I don't want you to feel like you have to stay here with me all night."

"You're an idiot," Derek said with a huff.

[robinonadderall]

"Am I?"

[justlurkinghere]

"You are," Derek replied firmly. "For some reason I like being around you. Can't imagine why."

He rolled his eyes. "Even when I'm like this?"

Derek shrugged back at him. "Apparently."

"And you called me an idiot."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek rolled his eyes in an aggressive fashion. Because that was way preferable to looking vulnerable. "You are an idiot."

"Sometimes," he admitted. "But so are you."

[justlurkinghere]

That got another eye roll. "Can I sit down now?"

[robinonadderall]

"You never asked to sit down in the first place." Just heavily indicated it with your eyebrows.

Derek huffed again. "I didn't realize I had to."

[robinonadderall]

"You don't have to," he said. "But you just asked me if you could sit down."

[justlurkinghere]

"I don't know what you want me to do," Derek replied. "You still haven't answered."
