Opposite of Creepy Mansion | Tuesday Night

Some nightmares last night had led to Stiles sleeping during the day to make up for lost time which in turn led to him knowing he wasn't gonna sleep tonight. So he was downstairs sprawled out on the couch with some popcorn, scrolling through Netflix to load up some 80's action movies into the queue.

They'd all meld together by 3 a.m. but that was okay with him.

Derek did not do the pathetic thing and ask, 'With me?' But it was damn close to happening.

Instead he nodded like that was a good enough answer. It was not.

"What do you want?" he asked in return.

"I don't know." Liiiiiiies. He wanted to cling to Stiles through all those things like a psychotic limpet.

"You have to have some idea."

[justlurkinghere]

"Mostly just have a family."

Stiles felt vaguely guilty about that since that wasn't something he could really provide Derek with at the moment. "You've got Cora back. That's a start."

"Yeah." Derek carefully moved closer to Stiles, keeping enough space between them that he wouldn't be touching him if Stiles made a face. "You too."

He smiled a little, looking down at the floor. "You want kids of your own though."

"I--yeah." Hadn't they talked about it after that one weekend? Then again, Stiles was young. He could have changed his mind after wverything that had happened. And now he was actually with Derek, he could have decided that he so did not want that sort of commitment with him. No need to hitch his wagon to that ball of crazy when child support might happen. "Maybe."

"There's no maybe about it," he said. "I want them too. Someday."

"Someday," Derek agreed.

"That's not what you meant when you asked me that question, was it?"

Derek shook his head.

"Then what did you mean?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Is this--are we alright?"

[robinonadderall]

"Why wouldn't we be?"

[justlurkinghere]

Derek pursed his lips and went back to looking at the television. "Nevermind."

He sighed. "Derek, we're fine. I'm just in a bad mood and I snapped at you and I'm sorry."

"That's all?"

[robinonadderall]

"Yes, that's all," Stiles said. "No complaints from me."

"I want to spend time with you," Derek muttered, leaning against him now. "Even when you're an asshole."

"That's so...sweet?" Maybe?

"Shut up." It was manly as hell.

[robinonadderall]

Stiles gave Derek a quick smile before reaching up to put his hand his in hair. "You forgive me?"

"Not while you're cheating," Derek muttered, tilting his head toward the fingers in his hair.
