Stiles didn't know if it was sad or impressive that he managed a whole month at his FBI internship before getting shot. Some might have said that with his luck he might've been shot on the first day.

It hadn't been his finest moment, seeing as it was just a small graze on his foot from a ricochet and he had screamed like he had a whole arm taken off. Oh and he passed out when he saw the blood. That was pretty embarrassing too. Whole thing warranted two stitches and a pass to take the rest of the day off (but was expected back bright and early tomorrow).

He was fine to drive home but of course that whole idea went out the window when he told Derek about the ordeal. Now he was waiting to be picked up, occasionally looking at the windows of the facility to see if his classmates were pointing and laughing at him.

So. Embarrassing.

"But we're apart for long time." You know. The week days. Five whole days! Well, really four if he got there on Friday. Or three if he left Monday morning.

Stiles huffed. “We’ve never been apart for a long time except when I was possessed by a fox.”

"Don't do that again." Important things. "Should we... spend more time apart?"

“God, no,” he said, cuddling closer to Derek at the thought. “I like the codependent thing.”

Which was good because it sounded awful to Derek. Who had no problem hugging him a little tighter. "Good. I like it too."

“You’re stuck with me,” he said. “Sorry.”

Derek laughed, moving his hands up to guide Stiles in for a kiss. "Oh no."

Stiles happily kissed him back. They were truly disgusting people. It was ridiculous.

They were getting over the terrible trauma of two whole stitches! Which was somehow the worst thing to happen to them in a decent amount of time.

Which was nice.

"Pizza guy is here," Derek muttered, kissing him again before the doorbell rang.

Show-off.

Stiles reluctantly pulled back. “Get our food. More kissing later.”

Derek kissed him one last time, trying to carefully pull away without knocking Stiles onto the floor. "Yes, sir."

They were forever looking like the beginning of a bad porno with pizza delivery people, weren't they?

“Oooh I like when you call me sir,” he teased, sitting up. Prime pizza eating position.

Derek laughed, leaving him to get the pizza and glare at the pizza guy. Despite it being his own fault for answering the door shirtless.

"I'll save that for special occasions," he said, putting the boxes down on the coffee table in front of Stiles to have fist pick as the injured person.

Stiles was grateful enough for the pizza that he decided to let Derek have all of the meat lovers. “Special occasions?”

Derek nodded, immediately digging into the pizza like a starved animal. "Unless you're not interested?"

“I’m interested,” he said. “I’m just wondering what a special occasion is.”

"After you finish this internship," he suggested after a moment. "We can use the handcuffs and everything."

Stiles looked very into that idea. “That’d be a nice reward for surviving the internship.”

"Don't get injured and I'll wear the panties too." Yes, bribing him into safety.

“But what if it’s an injury that was out of my control?” It was hardly ever his fault!

Derek sighed, licking grease off his thumb. "Like...?"

He pointed at his foot. “Not my fault.”

[justlurkinghere]

"Fine. An accident like this still gets the panties." Since they were negotiating. "If you don't get any injuries at all... you get something else."

That he hadn't decided on yet.

"I'll agree to that," he said. "Those terms are fair."

"I thought so," Derek replied, leaning over for a kiss. "You pick what I should do for the big reward."

Assuming Stiles managed to earn it.
