Stiles didn't know if it was sad or impressive that he managed a whole month at his FBI internship before getting shot. Some might have said that with his luck he might've been shot on the first day.

It hadn't been his finest moment, seeing as it was just a small graze on his foot from a ricochet and he had screamed like he had a whole arm taken off. Oh and he passed out when he saw the blood. That was pretty embarrassing too. Whole thing warranted two stitches and a pass to take the rest of the day off (but was expected back bright and early tomorrow).

He was fine to drive home but of course that whole idea went out the window when he told Derek about the ordeal. Now he was waiting to be picked up, occasionally looking at the windows of the facility to see if his classmates were pointing and laughing at him.

So. Embarrassing.

"I'm gonna have to put some thought into that one," Stiles said. "You might end up regretting it."

Doubtful.

"Will not," Derek said, biting gently at Stiles' shoulder before going back to his pizza.

Stiles smiled at the bite. "I mean, I could make you serenade me or something."

"I don't sing." Not outside of weird days that force them to.

"But you said I could choose what would happen." He had no intention of making Derek sing, but he felt this was a lesson in specificity.

"I will never sleep with you again if you do." He would, but he'd be surly about it.

Stiles laughed. "Wow, that's a serious threat."

"I regret pampering you," Derek informed him.

[robinonadderall]

"No you don't," he said. "You love it."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek just sighed, scooting closer to cuddle him again. Because it was such a hardship for him. "For some reason I do."

Stiles kissed Derek's cheek. "Because you're totally in love with me."

"I'm taking back the ring," Derek muttered, turning his head to kiss him properly.

Derek really had the worst threats. Stiles probably would have mentioned it, but kissing. Kissing always took precedence.

How dare you! He was a terrifying person who should be taken seriously.

When he wasn't ruining it by making out with the person he was 'arguing' with. That part was his bad.

To be fair, this was a good way to win an argument. Since they weren't physically capable to arguing doing this.

Stiles shifted slightly, just enough so he could keep his balance by grabbing onto Derek's bicep. It was also just a nice place to grab onto.

They could probably manage it if they tried hard enough!

Derek made a pleased noise, curling an arm around Stiles' waist to pull him close. In case he wanted to try really hard are arguing. Yes.

Nope, there would be no arguing here. Though it was nice of Derek to take precautions against it. Instead Stiles took Derek's lead and shifted closer to the point where he'd probably have to be in his lap next.

Which Derek helped along, being as gentle as he could to not jar Stiles' foot. "Feeling pampered?" he muttered, pressing his forehead against Stiles'.

“Very,” he said with a small smile. “I’m definitely feeling better.”

"Good." Then as the though occurred to him. "Now I'm not the last one to get shot."

He got shot at a lot in the past too.

“You happy about that?” he asked, amused. “Does it give you a moral high ground?”

[justlurkinghere]

"No." It totally did. And he would feel a little smug.

“Liar.”

[justlurkinghere]

"I'd never lie," Derek replied, nipping at his shoulder again. "About that."

“Uh huh,” Stiles murmured. “Somehow I don’t believe you.”
