Stiles didn't know if it was sad or impressive that he managed a whole month at his FBI internship before getting shot. Some might have said that with his luck he might've been shot on the first day.

It hadn't been his finest moment, seeing as it was just a small graze on his foot from a ricochet and he had screamed like he had a whole arm taken off. Oh and he passed out when he saw the blood. That was pretty embarrassing too. Whole thing warranted two stitches and a pass to take the rest of the day off (but was expected back bright and early tomorrow).

He was fine to drive home but of course that whole idea went out the window when he told Derek about the ordeal. Now he was waiting to be picked up, occasionally looking at the windows of the facility to see if his classmates were pointing and laughing at him.

So. Embarrassing.

Nope, there would be no arguing here. Though it was nice of Derek to take precautions against it. Instead Stiles took Derek's lead and shifted closer to the point where he'd probably have to be in his lap next.

Which Derek helped along, being as gentle as he could to not jar Stiles' foot. "Feeling pampered?" he muttered, pressing his forehead against Stiles'.

“Very,” he said with a small smile. “I’m definitely feeling better.”

"Good." Then as the though occurred to him. "Now I'm not the last one to get shot."

He got shot at a lot in the past too.

“You happy about that?” he asked, amused. “Does it give you a moral high ground?”

"No." It totally did. And he would feel a little smug.

“Liar.”

[justlurkinghere]

"I'd never lie," Derek replied, nipping at his shoulder again. "About that."

“Uh huh,” Stiles murmured. “Somehow I don’t believe you.”

"I'd never lie to you?" he tried again, very slowly working on a hickey there.

Oh no, anything but hickeys. “I’d argue more but I’m enjoying the pampering.”

"Can't interrupt that," Derek agreed, taking his time on this. "Can you do a bath with the stitches?"

Stiles sighed. “I’m not supposed to let them soak.”

Stupid human healing.

"So, I'll have to do something else to continue the pampering." Even though it was the go to that made him only look at properties with sex tubs.

They were just large tubs, Derek. Not sex tubs. “I’m sorry my injury messed up your pampering plans.”

Large tubs that were used for sex. Don't front, Stiles.

"You should be," Derek replied, running his hands down Stiles' sides. "Think about that next time maybe."

“No sutures next time,” he said before biting at Derek’s jaw. “Noted.”

Derek hummed, tilting his head for him. "I could give you a massage instead."

And it totally wouldn't just turn into sex.

“That’d be nice,” he said. “Here or on the bed?”

Definitely not turning into sex.

"The bed's larger."

Still not for sex.

“Good point. Don’t wanna risk further injury by falling off the couch.”

Which meant Derek had to pick him up like the dainty princess he was. "I don't think they'd let you live it down."

“I would never tell anybody about it,” he said, looping his arms around Derek’s neck. “And you better not either.”

"You could say you were trying to save an orphan." IT WOULD BE TRUE.

Stiles laughed. “Oh yeah, like they’d believe that.”
