Day two of his FBI student program had gone more smoothly than day one. The excitement of finally taking a step towards his dream career was still there but he was able to focus today instead of practically vibrating out of his seat with enthusiasm.

He still hated wearing a tie though, which is why it came off the instant classes were over. They needed to have a casual Friday or something. Maybe he'd bring that up with one of his teachers.

"Liar," Stiles said, shaking his head. "It's really nice. Too nice, but thank you anyway."

Derek smiled and shrugged at that, settling down on the couch. "How is it so far?"

"I love it," he said. "We haven't done much yet but still...it's cheesy but it's like a dream come true."

"Really cheesy," Derek teased.

"Oh shut up," he said, chuckling. "You're just jealous 'cause your dream come true moved an hour away."

"Are you calling yourself my dream?" Because that was pretty accurate. Right up there with a nudist lifestyle and being a #1 dad.

"Yup," Stiles said, sounding slightly muffled as he pulled on one of the shirts he stole from Derek.

"You okay there?" Derek asked, frowning a little at that. Because he didn't even know how to do speaker phone.

"Sorry, I'm changing my clothes," he said. "I only just got back from class."

"Not a fan of the suit?"

Because Derek had been.

"I hate it," Stiles said. "The tie chokes me."

"I'm not buying you clip-ons." He refused.

No one tell him cops used them so they couldn't have it used against them in a fight.

Stiles sighed. "You love the suits so much."

[justlurkinghere]

"You look good in them," he said probably a little defensively. His attraction to Stiles in suits wasn't to be questioned!

"I look like a dork in them." He needed to fill out a little bit more to make them look professional and imposing, in his opinion.

Oh, professional and imposing was the goal? Derek had to give him that one then.

"You... look like an attractive dork."

"Thanks," he said, smiling to himself. "How've you been?"

"It's only been a day." Terrible. He was terrible, Stiles.

Remember that picture on the internet of a dog that was tangled up in some blinds because he thought his person was never coming home and he panicked? That was Derek.

"Yeah and I know you." He knew how you got, Derek!

[justlurkinghere]

"I haven't been attacked by anything supernatural," Derek said like that counted as him being okay without Stiles supervision. "I miss you."

Which was stupid, it had only been a day.

"I miss you too," he said. "You're not too far though."

Not that it meant much when it came to the inability to spoon.

"The bed might stop smelling like you," he muttered.

[robinonadderall]

He huffed. "I can easily show up and roll over the bed."

"Get a meal that's not microwaved," Derek replied, sounding a little less grumpy.

"That too," he said. "And sex."
