Apartment Outside of Quantico VA - Tuesday Afternoon

Day two of his FBI student program had gone more smoothly than day one. The excitement of finally taking a step towards his dream career was still there but he was able to focus today instead of practically vibrating out of his seat with enthusiasm.

He still hated wearing a tie though, which is why it came off the instant classes were over. They needed to have a casual Friday or something. Maybe he'd bring that up with one of his teachers.

"I could just spend the weekend picking zucchini," Derek warned.

He had so many zucchini. It was literally the only plant he didn't somehow murder.

Stiles chuckled. "You don't want to do that. You want to cuddle with me in my fancy apartment."

"I do," he admitted with a sigh. "I'd rather cuddle you now rather than wait."

He was trying to show restraint here.

Well that got him feeling that stupid fluttering in his chest. You'd think that would've stopped after all these years.

"I'd like that," he admitted. "But I'm already out of the suit so you'd be in for some disappointment."

"I can show up on Friday to see you in it," Derek replied. "Bring you some dinner after a long day."

"That'd be nice," he said. "I miss that."

Yes, already.

"We are going to go a little crazy during this, aren't we?" Derek asked, laying back on the couch to stare up at the ceiling.

"Well we knew this was coming," he said, sighing. "Just be glad I didn't take an internship across the country."

"So much time flying out to see you," Derek agreed quietly. "I'm really happy for you, though. I don't want--I don't want you to turn down things because of me."

"I wouldn't," he assured Derek. "But I'm gonna do everything I can to be near you and get the career I want."

"I am going to kiss you a lot when I get there." Because they were so sappy with future talk.

[robinonadderall]

"Oh no, anything but that."

[justlurkinghere]

"You'll have to survive somehow," Derek replied. "I'll make it up to you with cleaning."

Sure. Cleaning.

"How romantic," Stiles said. "You know how to treat a man right."

[justlurkinghere]

"And blowjobs." There. There was the romance.

"I'm swooning!" he said, laughing. "I'm gonna count down the days until you get here."

He really would, which was the sad thing.

They both would.

"Don't fall off anything with that swoon," Derek replied, unable to keep from laughing as well. "I know you."

"Don't worry, I'm already laying down," Stiles said. "On the completely unnecessary king sized bed you made me get."

"It won't be unnecessary when I get there," he pointed out, humming a little at the mental image of Stiles on their bed. "Would you have preferred a twin?"

"We have a tendency to break those." Okay, they've only broken the one in his childhood home but still.

And Derek would never be able to look at that room again without the shame. The shame.

Derek nodded like that was a problem solved, ignoring the fact that he was on the phone. "So, you're in bed?"

Wow, he going in smooth.

Stiles chuckled. For some reason, he was oddly charmed by Derek's smooth moves. "Yes, I'm on the bed. Wearing your shirt."

He was pretty enough to get away with it at least.

"Yeah?" Oh, it was just ridiculous how much Derek enjoyed the clothes sharing.

"Yep," he said. "Stole a bunch of your clothes."

"So you'll still smell like me when I get there." Possessive little werewolf.
