True to his word, Derek wasted no time getting a pool built at their place. It was a shame they only had a few weeks to enjoy it but Stiles intended on spending every minute his pale skin would allow swimming in it.

Today was the first day it was deemed ready to swim in. Stiles thought maybe it deserved a ribbon cutting or something but since big red ribbons were hard to come by, he settled for just putting on his trunks and slathering on an indecent amount of sunscreen on to celebrate.

Which was kind of lame. He wished he had Derek's inability to get sunburn.

Derek sighed and tilted his head to offer up more skin to him. "Just as long as it's not in Florida."

"I will never move us to Florida." Stiles bit down on Derek's neck just for the suggestion.

The sigh turned into a groan because someone was biting him. And he was being good here, Stiles. He was being the good one so you could not blame this on him. "Even--even more humid than here," he babbled, holding onto the hair on the nape of Stiles' neck firmly.

Well everyone knew Stiles had no self-control. You were supposed to be better than him, Derek.

"You know you neglected your pool boy duties," Stiles said, nudging at Derek's jaw with his nose. "I had to put on sunscreen by myself."

They were basically each other's impulse control when it came to sex. Which was probably why they had so much sex.

Derek tilted his head a little at the nudge, following Stiles' lead without a single complaint. He scratched lightly down Stiles' back just to keep his hands from settling in one place and starting something. "Did you need me to help with that now?"

They were going to end up traumatizing someone by keeping lube next to the sun screen at this rate.

Stiles grinned. "Isn't that how poolside pornos start?"

Not that he was opposed to that. At nighttime. Yes, right, no fooling around during the day.

"Can't have that," Derek replied seriously. "But you are pretty pale to be in the sun."

He lifted his eyebrows. "Are you offering to make sure I haven't missed any spots?"

Derek lifted his eyebrows right on back. "You could help me with the lotion first if you want."

"You don't even need lotion."

"The neighbors don't know that." The neighbor who was getting a show right now, guys.

Yeah Stiles hadn't noticed her. Because he was just a lowly human.

Stiles shook his head, still thinking this could be completely innocent. "You can put it on me. No need to waste it."

"Did you miss a spot?" Derek asked, running his hand as far down Stiles' back as he could reach.

Derek pressed a quick kiss against Stiles' lips before pulling away. "Can't have you getting weird sunburns. You'll complain forever."

"You're right about that," he said, pushing himself out of the pool. "Where do you want me?"
