So the ghost thing was....a thing. A truly disturbing thing that he never wanted to deal with again. Sure, it hadn't caused as quite as much destruction as the nogitsune had but it still had freaked Stiles out and made him feel gross afterwards. And he hadn't even been the one possessed.

He had to go back to school tomorrow 'cause finals started on Monday but he was taking as much time as he could today to make sure Derek was okay. It involved a lot of clinging.

"I probably would have been too intimidated to talk to you," he admitted.

"You would have known my sister probably," Derek replied.

"Probably," he agreed. "Though she would have scared the shit out of me too."

"Laura would have been nice to you." Probably with the creepy Hale edge.

"That's true," Stiles agreed. "She was way friendlier than you or Cora. Though she could be scary too. Your whole family has an intimidating vibe."

"You should have met my mom," Derek replied. "She could put Peter in his place."

"I heard she was quite the lady," Stiles said. "I wish I could have met her."

Derek pulled him closer to hug. "At least she didn't show up as a ghost."

"Yeah that would have been..." He tried to find the proper words for it and couldn't think of anything.

"She'd be so disappointed how things ended up," Derek replied, knowing what Stiles wasn't able to word. "With the family."

He shrugged. "I think she'd be more happy to see you."

Derek smiled, kissing him lightly. "If I could have, I'd have my dad meet you first. He was less intense."

In a way.

"Thanks," he said, laughing. "I appreciate you thinking of my sanity."

"It's important that you stay sane through college," Derek replied with mock sincerity.

[robinonadderall]

"Don't have to worry about that if I don't make it through the semester," Stiles said. "Finals might kill me."

[justlurkinghere]

"You're too smart for that," Derek replied. Like the giant sap he was.

"Can't I be dramatic for a minute?" he asked.

Derek snorted before trying to nod seriously. "Go ahead. Tell me about the tasteful funeral arrangements."

"Just throw my ashes at sea," he said solemnly.

"Can I cry as I do it?"

[robinonadderall]

"I'd be insulted if you didn't cry."

[justlurkinghere]

"John Wayne tears or weeping?"

[robinonadderall]

"We both know you'd be weeping," he said. "Ugly crying."

Derek nodded in agreement. "I don't know if I can be ugly."

Stiles rolled his eyes. "So arrogant."
