Midterms were horrifyingly close and it turned out that you had tests and essays to write before midterms which was extremely unfair. There should be rules against that sort of stuff. It was child abuse!

Oh right, he wasn't a child anymore.

His roommate was wherever he went to in the evenings (Stiles had the feeling he creeped out the guy) which Stiles was thankful for because he needed all the space for studying. His papers were everywhere. The beds, the desks, the floor, the dressers. It was part of a highly scientific system. Even when he shoved the papers off his bed so he could attempt to take a frustrated angry nap it was all part of the system.

"Barely," he said. "Been studying for hours."

"Have you eaten at least?" Mother hen.

"Yes." Red Bull and a Snickers.

That wasn't food at all, you little shit.

"Don't overwork yourself."

"I would never." Of course he would. "How're things?"

"Uh huh." Derek bought that. "Quiet. As normal as this place gets."

"That's good," he said, stifling a yawn. "Quiet's good, right?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Quiet's good," Derek replied. "I'll send you whatever I make in my class this week if it keeps up."

"Thanks," he said. "I want something with peanut butter in it."

Derek huffed out a laugh. "I'll see what I can do. I think this week is apples."

Hopefully he would not mind a text break.

One test this week. Two essays. Sigh.

And that's not counting midterms. College is way harder than Fandom.

It's been a quiet week, thank God. I've been super busy because I'm an idiot who keeps taking jobs so I like quiet.
