So work had been a distraction, but sadly he couldn't stay there all evening. Even with the dog and other people in the house it was kind of depressing to show up and not have Derek there. Even if he was still kind of annoyed with him.

After feeding Puppy Joe he shuffled upstairs for a change a clothes 'cause if he was going to mope around he was going to do it comfortably.

Stiles winced, pulling back slightly but not letting go of Derek. "You can't say things like that."

Derek huffed, resting his forehead against Stiles'.

"You're annoying and chew with your mouth open." It was true. "But this is different."

He was an overly romantic weirdo.

"How?" he asked, sliding his hands down to cup Derek's face, fingers gently scratching the stubble there.

"I don't know how to put it," Derek said with a little laugh. "I just--being with you like this."

Stiles smiled slightly before leaning in to kiss Derek again. Knowing that Derek wanted this did a lot to encourage Stiles to keep going.

"I can show you," Derek offered quietly, giving him a hesitant smile once they pulled apart again.

He nodded. "Yeah, okay. Show me."

Derek tugged him over toward the bed, leaning in for another kiss. Because it had been a month. A month of thinking he'd never touch Stiles again.

Stiles kissed Derek back, letting Derek tug him wherever he wanted. He wasn't quite ready to take the reigns when it came to sex yet but he was more than happy to let Derek call the shots.

Well, hopefully he was up for some intense prom queen treatment to show how Derek felt about him. Oh yeah.

Derek smiled at him, small but genuine as he pushed Stiles back to lay on the bed.

Stiles went easily, laying down and scooting back until he was against the pillows. He felt weirdly nervous about this and he didn't know why. Maybe because it had been so long?

Derek crawled up on the bed after him, hands by Stiles' hips and knees further down flanking Stiles' legs. He leaned down, dragging his nose along the line of hair on Stiles' stomach. "This okay?"

"Yeah," he said softly. "Whatever you want is fine by me."

At that, Derek nodded and pressed a kiss to Stiles' stomach. "Like this," he muttered, shifting so he was on his elbows, hands careful at Stiles' waist.

Just be glad he didn't have any Lana Del Rey music to play.

It was too bad 'cause Stiles probably wouldn't have commented on it this one time. Missed your chance, Derek.

Stiles exhaled slowly, looking down at Derek from his spot against the pillows. "Just let me know when you want me to do anything."

'Cause he didn't want Derek to think he was greedy or anything.

"I want to take care of you this time," Derek said, looking up at him. "I should have done it like this on graduation weekend."

"I liked graduation weekend," he said. "No regrets there."

"I did too," Derek admitted. He mouthed at Stiles' stomach, tugging lightly on the sweatpants he was wearing. Not quite enough to get them down enough for anything to come of it.

Stiles smiled. "This is going to be a test of my patience, isn't it?"

"Probably," Derek replied dryly. Because let's be real.

He continued to mouth he way down each bit of exposed skin as he continued to tug those pants down.

"Objections?"

"None," he said, lifting up his hips helpfully.

"Good." With that little bit of help, Derek was able to pull the sweats down around Stiles' thighs, leaving them there for the moment. Apparently he had more important things to do. Like gently mouth at Stiles' dick.

Stiles made a small, surprised noise, not expecting Derek to just go for it like that. He hadn't been completely hard before but he was quickly working up to it now.

He also got the feeling that if Derek had more time to plan this there would have been candles lit somewhere in here.

Probably rose petals. Maybe some champagne and strawberries.

Derek helpfully licked along Stiles' length to bring him up to full hardness. It was followed by a nudge with his nose as he ducked his head to lick further down. "Do you want me to open you up with my tongue?"

"Fuck," Stiles murmured, putting one of his arms over his eyes. Because that was almost too hot to deal with and it had been a month, cut him a break. "Yes."

He'd be the world's biggest idiot to say no to that.
