"We need to go someplace with a big bathtub." Abrupt subject change was abrupt.

"For what?" Derek asked, kissing at Stiles' temple. It was gross.

He was pretty sweaty so kissing any part of him was likely to be gross even beyond the sappy kind of way.

"To take a bath together." Duh, Derek. You were supposed to be the romantic one here. "With like bubbles and making out and stuff."

Derek snorted, kissing him again. Because he was was soooo sappy.

"Shower?" he offered. "We'd have to get a hotel room if you want to share a bath."

"Shower later," he said, rolling over. He immediately started pushing Derek around so he could flop down on his chest. "But we should take a bath together sometime."

Derek went easily, wrapping his arms around Stiles. "We can do that," he replied softly. "I'd like that."

"Good," he said, pressing a kiss against Derek's chest. "Thank you."

He was not thanking him about the bath thing.

"Nothing to thank me for," Derek said, rubbing Stiles' back with his thumb. "It's gonna be hard for a while. But I don't want to give up on this."

"I don't either," he said. "I'm not going to."

For that, Derek pulled him up for a sickeningly sweet, harlequin style kiss.

Stiles could manage one of those disgustingly romantic kisses and he'd do it with enthusiasm. If only they were in slow motion. Then the effect would be complete.
