It looked like a fairly normal morning, with Stiles sitting in front of the TV, watching some action movie that one of the cable channels was nice enough to put on so early. There was just one problem. Stiles couldn't remember how he got down to the living room. Last he remembered he was finally dozing off in bed as the sun was coming up.

It was kind of disturbing, to blink awake in a different place than you fell asleep in. Immediately he started coming up with excuses. He hadn't slept a lot lately, he could have just been on autopilot. Or sleepwalking. He used to do that as a kid. This wasn't anything to worry about.

Derek gave him a quick grin, using his free hand to pull Stiles' legs onto his lap. "You drive me crazy."

It was probably because the last time Derek was with anyone, he was a teenager. And clearly not because of the looming L word that he was too smart to say.

"I've always done that." Just try to deny it, Derek.

"That's because I can give you them now." If he talked about them before it would have just added to the frustration.

"Never said I was going to help," Stiles pointed out, reaching up to put one of his hands in Derek's hair for all of the petting.

Derek sighed, leaning into that. He just just helpless against it. "One of these days that's going to backfire on you."

"Yeah?" he said. "I don't think it will."

"I won't always be distracted by sex."

Yes he would. As evident from the fact that he was back to mouthing at Stiles' throat.

"Well we can't have sex on the couch," Stiles said even as he was tilting his head to give Derek more room. "Mike could walk in."

"We're not having sex," Derek pointed out. They were just engaging in some highly suspect behavior in a public living space.

Poor, poor Mike.

"That's a good point." So it'd totally be okay to kiss Derek now. They could restrain themselves. Maybe.

Definitely able to restrain themselves! Like they had so far.

Derek kissed him back, pulling on Stiles' hips so it was easier. Yup. That's the reason.

Yep. Totally made their restrained making out easier. And there went Stiles' other hand to join the other in Derek's hair. Just for. You know. Balance. And restraint.

The dog was judging them right now from his spot on the floor. Totally judging them.

That dog was doing a bad job at chaperoning them. God, Puppy Joe.

Derek responded to the hair grabbing for balance by making sure Stiles couldn't fall off. As that was the concern they both had at the moment. He hooked his thumbs into the waistband of Stiles' pants. To help.

When Stiles felt fingers against his hips he had to pull away to laugh a little. "Really?"

"Making sure they don't fall off," Derek replied innocently.

"You're so full of shit."

"I'm being responsible," Derek insisted before leaning in for another kiss.

So responsible. With his running his thumb over Stiles' ridiculous tattoo.

Shut up, Derek. Your tattoo was ridiculous. Or something.

Derek was full of crap and yet Stiles found no reason not to kiss him back. He couldn't find a reason to not start shifting over onto Derek's lap. His legs were already there, why not the rest of him?

That was just sound logic, really.

Which was the only reason why Derek's hands moved right on up under Stiles' shirt and over his back. Because logic.

They seriously had a problem. A "unable to keep their hands off each other" problem. Though that was probably obvious even before graduation.

Stiles really was only making things worse when he ducked his head down to mouth at Derek's neck.
