It looked like a fairly normal morning, with Stiles sitting in front of the TV, watching some action movie that one of the cable channels was nice enough to put on so early. There was just one problem. Stiles couldn't remember how he got down to the living room. Last he remembered he was finally dozing off in bed as the sun was coming up.

It was kind of disturbing, to blink awake in a different place than you fell asleep in. Immediately he started coming up with excuses. He hadn't slept a lot lately, he could have just been on autopilot. Or sleepwalking. He used to do that as a kid. This wasn't anything to worry about.

Derek had once again taken Stiles sleeping as an opportunity to go get some food for before he woke up.

He opened the front door, letting Puppy Joe rush in to find a spot on Stiles' lap. "Hey."

Way to ruin the surprise by being awake, Stiles. God.

"Hey," he said, scratching behind Puppy Joe's ears. "You're gonna make me fat if you keep bringing me food."

"You'll exercise it off."

With sex. All the sex. See what he did there?

"Is that a promise?" he asked.

Derek chuckled, putting down the bag of pastries from the Perk. "It can be."

"Good," he said, leaning over to try to grab the bag without jostling Puppy Joe too much. "Was I asleep when you left?"

"Yeah. Seemed peaceful for you."

Meaning he did not wake up screaming.

"Huh." Well it was true, he didn't really wake up violently. "I think I might be sleepwalking again. I used to do it as a kid."

"Is it okay?"

[robinonadderall]

"I guess," he said with a shrug. "It gets a little confusing, but it's not hurting anything."

"Should I wake you up?" Or would that end badly for all?

[robinonadderall]

"Sure," he said. "It just startles me a little but it's better than falling down the stairs or something."

"I'll keep an ear out for it."

Just, you know, hope there's no sleep sex in there. Unless Stiles was into that kind of thing. It was one of the few things not on that survey.

"Thanks," he said. "It's nothing to worry about, it's just annoying."

"Still don't want you to fall down the stairs."

[robinonadderall]

"Well I made it down the stairs this morning somehow," Stiles said. "But I'd rather not fall down them either."

Derek was overprotective. This was known.

"Eat your scones," Derek said with am eye roll. "I'll let Mike know."

"Scones, how fancy." Well they were fancy to him.

"I spoil you," Derek agreed.

"You do," Stiles said with a nod. "Hope I'm worth it."

"I like to think so," Derek said with a fond look. Oh god, make him stop.

"You're disgusting." Teasing, he was teasing.

[justlurkinghere]

"Sucks to be you then," Derek replied, grabbing his own breakfast.

Just look how he was when he was relaxed. Bask in it for this moment he was a normal person.

"So what are we doing today?" It was weird not having classes to go to. How did one adult?

They did taxes constantly. And clipped coupons.

"We should probably go outside so no one thinks we're hermits."

They were going to end up having sex again, let's be real.
