Non-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

When Stiles woke up Monday morning he was completely human (that he knew of). And almost completely back to normal except for two things. One, he was now dressed in a manner that Jackson and Isaac would have probably approved of (this version of Stiles ditched the plaid and wore more flattering stuff) and, two, he woke up with a nosebleed.

"Oh fuck," he said, holding his hand up to his nose. That couch would need to be cleaned, definitely.

"Did you hit something?" Derek asked, crouching slightly to check for swelling and finding absolutely none. Which had to be weird, right?

He shook his head. "I just woke up like this. I think I bled on the couch."

Derek shrugged. "We can tell Mike it's my blood stains."

Again.

"I don't think Mike's gonna throw me out for a nose bleed, Derek." He pulled the towel away again, deciding that the bleeding had stopped. "Could you wet this for me, I've probably got blood all over my face."

Derek rolled his eyes, taking the paper towels to toss out before grabbing fresh ones to wet. "You'll just smear it," he muttered, wiping at Stiles' chin first.

"Oh my god, Derek," Stiles said, trying to move his face away like a child. "I can really do this myself."

"And I'd already be done if you stopping moving," Derek shot back.

[robinonadderall]

"But you don't need to do it!" He spent three days as a big scary werewolf, he could totally do it!

"I'm helping you!" They had the best fights, didn't they?

"Derek," Stiles said, pushing his hands away. "I'm fine. I'm back to normal, it's just a nose bleed, you don't need to hover."

Yeah well. Derek still aggressively fixed Stiles' hair. As one does.

That got Stiles to smile. "You grooming me?"

[justlurkinghere]

"It looked bad, so I fixed it," Derek corrected. Now shut up and take his pathological need to reassure himself you're back and fine.

[robinonadderall]

"Wow, such a sweet talker," he said. "My face is blood-free, right?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Wash your hands and you're good."

[robinonadderall]

"Okay good." Then he was clean enough to pull Derek into a hug. Because he hated when Derek got worried like that.

And who was Derek to deny a hug? He was just going to manfully soldier through it by hugging back. Clinging, really. It was just sad.

"Don't do that again."

[robinonadderall]

"What, hug you?" He knew what you meant, Derek.

[justlurkinghere]

"That too," Derek replied dryly.

[robinonadderall]

He pulled away from him after a few moments and looked Derek over. "How did the moon go?"

"I didn't go on a murderous rampage if that's your worry."

He might have creepily stayed directly under where the couch was. For reasons.

"I didn't think you would," he said. "Did it feel any different?"

Scientific curiosity.

[justlurkinghere]

"I didn't try a full transformation," Derek replied with a shrug. "Everything else is just like going through puberty again."

Accurate description, but possibly not helpful here.

Stiles pressed his lips together as he attempted to avoid the question about excessive horniness that he desperately wanted to ask. "Why didn't you try a full transformation?"

THE ANSWER WAS PROBABLY YES, STILES.

Derek looked uncomfortable for a moment before he moved to start the coffee. "I don't know what I'll end up like for one."
