Non-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

When Stiles woke up Monday morning he was completely human (that he knew of). And almost completely back to normal except for two things. One, he was now dressed in a manner that Jackson and Isaac would have probably approved of (this version of Stiles ditched the plaid and wore more flattering stuff) and, two, he woke up with a nosebleed.

"Oh fuck," he said, holding his hand up to his nose. That couch would need to be cleaned, definitely.

Which would be why Derek was rushing up from the basement. Because they were short the spare werewolf and there was blood. None of this was good. "Stiles?"

"I'm okay," he said, getting up off the couch and heading to kitchen, still holding his nose. "It's fine."

"Are you you?" Derek asked, trailing after him helplessly. Because you can't magically fix a bloody nose.

[robinonadderall]

"Well I'm not a werewolf," he said carefully, trying not to sputter blood everywhere. He went for the paper towels because his hand was not great coverage for a bloody nose.

Derek let out a sigh of relief, grabbing the towels to help put it up to Stiles' nose.

Wow. Bloody nose. Much romance. So pretty.

"I can handle a bloody nose myself, you know." Though he was impressed at the speed of Derek bursting out of the basement.

"You're bleeding on my kitchen." Only reason for this. "Tilt your head back."

[robinonadderall]

"You're not supposed to do that," Stiles informed him. "I read about it."

[justlurkinghere]

"What are you supposed to do then?" Derek asked, putting one hand on the back of Stiles' head to keep him from moving too much.

"I didn't read that far," he said, pulling the towel away to assess the damage. "I think it might be slowing down."

"Did you hit something?" Derek asked, crouching slightly to check for swelling and finding absolutely none. Which had to be weird, right?

[robinonadderall]

He shook his head. "I just woke up like this. I think I bled on the couch."

Derek shrugged. "We can tell Mike it's my blood stains."

Again.

"... blood?"

Apparently that was Jack-esque for "Hello" this morning. He wasn't quite awake yet; he'd been asleep when Derek ran up the stairs, and had followed automatically.

"It's fine," Stiles said. "I've already got one person babying me. It's just a nose bleed."

"Oh." Well, now Jack felt silly. "With the way he rushed off, I thought it was more serious."

[robinonadderall]

"It's Derek." That answer probably covered it.

[bitten_notshy]

"Right," Jack said, and rubbed his eyes to clear away the sleep. He'd managed his shorts before coming up the stairs, but otherwise ...

"I'm going to go put on clothes and then talk to you," he decided. "If no one is dying."

[robinonadderall]

"Probably for the best," Stiles said. He may have taken a glance downward.

If there had been a glance, Jack would have only been flattered. He turned to go.

Ten minutes later, he returned with damp hair and a fresh set of clothes. "Sometimes I think I should pay Mike and Derek rent," he mused. "How's your nose?"

"Fine," he answered. "Just a random nose bleed, I guess. No big deal despite what others may think."

"Others can be a little dramatic that way," Jack said, a curious expression beginning to cross his face. "Am I imagining things, or did you stop being a werewolf overnight?"

[robinonadderall]

"Apparently." And now he was from a universe where everything was the same except he had fashion taste. "The island is being weird. I think. Nemeton things are usually scarier."

[bitten_notshy]

"The druid tree?" Jack remembered after a second. "I didn't know that was still bothering you. Anyhow, I agree it's got to be the island. It's happening to too many people not to be."

[robinonadderall]

"The druid tree is sort of a lifetime thing." He had just gotten better at hiding when it bothered him. Though it was going to be too much to avoid soon.

"Well since it's an island thing a solution has to come soon, right?" he said. "It always does."

Which was why Stiles brushed off so much island stuff. It seemed like child's play compared to Beacon Hills.
