Non-Creepy Mansion | Monday Morning

When Stiles woke up Monday morning he was completely human (that he knew of). And almost completely back to normal except for two things. One, he was now dressed in a manner that Jackson and Isaac would have probably approved of (this version of Stiles ditched the plaid and wore more flattering stuff) and, two, he woke up with a nosebleed.

"Oh fuck," he said, holding his hand up to his nose. That couch would need to be cleaned, definitely.

He might have creepily stayed directly under where the couch was. For reasons.

"I didn't think you would," he said. "Did it feel any different?"

Scientific curiosity.

"I didn't try a full transformation," Derek replied with a shrug. "Everything else is just like going through puberty again."

Accurate description, but possibly not helpful here.

Stiles pressed his lips together as he attempted to avoid the question about excessive horniness that he desperately wanted to ask. "Why didn't you try a full transformation?"

THE ANSWER WAS PROBABLY YES, STILES.

Derek looked uncomfortable for a moment before he moved to start the coffee. "I don't know what I'll end up like for one."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Laura and my mother could turn into wolves," Derek said, filling up the coffee pot with water. "Peter couldn't even though it's in his bloodline."

Meaning he didn't want to see if he was as twisted inside as Peter had been.

"Well it reflects who you are inside, right?" Stiles said, remembering that whole thing from the kanima. "You're not like Peter."

"I know that." He had seen your pretty blue eyes, Derek. "Doesn't make you a bad person though. You didn't enjoy it."

"I'm not sure it'll matter," Derek muttered. "I'll try it when there's less pull from the moon."

"You know I don't care what you look like when you shift, right?"

"I care."

Stiles nodded, understanding that. "You gonna make me breakfast?"

"Do I get bacon?"

"Why would you get bacon?" he asked.

"It was a stressful weekend."

"Stressful?" he repeated. "Really? How so?"

"You were gone." Duh. "And it was the full moon."

[robinonadderall]

"I wasn't gone," he said. "Not really."

"Gone enough." Deal with his logic.

"Aww, you missed me." You will deal with the teasing if you wanted bacon, Derek.

"I said that." He most certainly did not.

"I don't really think you did," he said, trying not to smile.

Derek rolled his eyes, closing the distance between them before he put his hands on the sides of Stiles' neck and his forehead against his. Because he was a sappy motherfucker and really, Stiles should have known better on this.

"My anchor isn't working as well as it has before," he muttered, looking at Stiles' mouth rather than his eyes. "So you being---"

A giant spaz? A bag of peas? Who knew!

"Helped."

Aw yeah, he got his disgustingly romantic gesture on there.
