The good part about Thanksgiving break was that it meant that Stiles didn't have to spend anymore time dealing with DC traffic and living in that apartment by himself. The bad part was that he had the sneaking suspicion that Derek was going to make him help with Thanksgiving stuff. Ugh.

He was actually attempting to hide from all that. He was sitting in the tub in the guest bathroom playing on his phone like Derek wouldn't somehow be able to literally sniff him out.

Stiles pouted like he was seven. "But they're good."

"If you help me get this ready, you can have the leftovers." And Derek would not deal with your post-sugar high coma.

Stiles sighed. "I guess I can do that. For the marshmallows."

Not to be useful or anything.

"I guess that too," he joked.

Derek rolled his eyes again before going for another kiss. Because he still loved you despite this heartbreaking response, Stiles.

Stiles was grateful that Derek somehow found his personality charming. Either that or he was just sexually irresistible, hence the kissing.

It was probably the former.

"That's better."

"I mean if you wanted me to make out with you all you have to do is ask," he said. "Or just grab me and kiss me, that works too."

"Maybe I'm doing it to trick you into helping out here."

"It's not because you can't resist my sexual prowess?"

"Oh baby," Derek deadpanned, putting his hands in Stiles' hips. "How do I resist you?"

"Seems to me like you can't," he said, looping his arms around Derek's neck.

"I'll have to on Thursday," Derek replied. "Unless you really want to piss off my sister."

"Do you really want to piss off your sister?" 'Cause he could be talked into it.

"...she might actually try to kill us." That wasn't a no, Derek.

"Oh she will not," he said. "She loves you."

That made Derek duck his head against Stiles' neck because it was pretty nice to hear with the shitshow of his life. "She'd maul me at least."

"You'd recover," he murmured, putting a hand through Derek's hair.

"Oh, thanks for that concern," Derek replied, pushing in closer.

[robinonadderall]

"I'm being optimistic," he said. "For once."

[justlurkinghere]

"It doesn't suit you very well."

[robinonadderall]

"You prefer me sullen and pessimistic?"

[justlurkinghere]

"It's a huge turn on," Derek said oh so seriously.

"Everything's awful," he said solemnly.
