Basement of the Nameless House | Friday Afternoon

The fact that Stiles realized he'd have to pass a physical endurance test hit him hard when he finished this semester and realized he had one year of school left before entering his career in law enforcement. He'd have to like, run and stuff! And not die! It was going to take a whole year just to be able to run a mile without dying. Especially when it was like 100 degrees in Maryland right now and if he went outside he'd spontaneously combust.

Knowing that there'd be days where it'd be hot like the sun outside, Stiles had used Derek's credit card to buy enough stuff to set up a makeshift gym in the basement. It wasn't much, but there was a treadmill and a punching bag, along with a mat he could pass out on after he exercised. He had napped there many a time since starting to work out.

Today he was working on the punching bag because once again it was hot like the sun outside.

Stiles would resume working out...later. Maybe tomorrow. This was more important.

Surely clinging to Derek as he moved them around counted as some form of exercise!

This totally counted as exercise! He was working his core. Yep.

"Did I mess up your exercise?" Derek asked once he had Stiles against the wall and turned his attention to giving him a hickey on his neck.

Stiles smiled. "Would you be upset if I said you did?"

"I'd let you get back to it." Just ignore how he was carefully working his way down Stiles' neck to his shoulder to nip at.

"Call me crazy, but I'd much rather be doing this."

[justlurkinghere]

"I am very surprised," Derek assured him, pushing up on Stiles' shirt with one hand.

[robinonadderall]

"I can tell," he said, looping his arms around Derek's neck. "I'm really sweaty, just as a warning."

Just be glad it wasn't closer to the full moon there. Otherwise there would be a lot more cuddling.

"Oh no," Derek said, pulling back enough to look at him as he tugged on the shirt again.

"I'm being polite!" Because being sweaty was totally offensive to Derek, sure.

"And I love you for it," Derek replied. "Now help me get this shirt off you before the moment is dead."

The moment was literally never dead with them.

The moment had been going on for about three and a half years now. It was unlikely to die.

Still, he was lifting up his arms to help with the shirt removal. Better not risk killing the moment.

"Thank you," Derek said politely. Then continued to be polite by biting lower down on Stiles' shoulder where the skin was now exposed.

Stiles gasped softly at the bite. "You're w-welcome."

Derek hummed, carefully lowering Stiles' legs to the ground so he could continue biting lower on his chest.

"Me sweaty post-workout is really doing it for you, huh?" Stiles asked, putting his hands in Derek's hair.

[justlurkinghere]

"I like how you smell," Derek replied, closing his eyes at the hands in his hair."

[robinonadderall]

"That's sweet," Stiles said, playfully tugging on Derek's hair. "You smell pretty good too."

They had some weird ass compliments.

It was part of their charm!

Derek hummed, tugging down on Stiles' pants basically enough to be a tease. "I think you're getting abs too," he teased.

"Really?" He actually looked kind of excited about that.

[justlurkinghere]

Oh, he was adorable like that.

"Keep up the work and yes." So Derek could appreciate everything even more.

[robinonadderall]

Well Derek earned himself another kiss for that. Because he liked when his hard work was being acknowledged. Even if working out killed him a little bit inside.

How could Derek not accept that?

"Doing such a good job," Derek muttered between kisses.

[robinonadderall]

"I have a good support system," Stiles said before kissing Derek again.

[justlurkinghere]

"And what could your support system do to reward that work?" Derek asked.

[robinonadderall]

"This is pretty good," he said, running his hands through Derek's hair again. "Your appreciation is all I need."
