Cold Moreso Than Creepy Mansion | Sunday Morning

Snow was coming and as much Stiles knew he should probably get on the road and back to school before it hit, he was really tempted to find an excuse to miss class and have a snow day tomorrow. You would too if you were curled up in bed and as cozy as he was. He briefly stuck a foot out of the covers to see if it was worth it to get out of bed and get coffee but determined it was like Antartica in the house and he was better off being uncaffeinated and fell back asleep.

But he would be getting up to pack his bag and go back to school sometime today. Probably. Maybe.

He could miss one day of class, right?

[For the werewolf boyfriend guy and vistors/housemates/etc. I am already coming up with excuses not to go into work tomorrow 'cause 8 inches of snow in my area of Maryland no thank you]

"Until it's not cold." So forever.

"You'll get bedsores," Derek warned him, offering over the coffee.

"I'll keep moving around," he said, shifting some to get the coffee without spilling it. "Thanks."

"Couldn't let you go uncaffeinated. You'd never stop whining."

He teased. Mostly.

"Hey, you could have gone downstairs and ignored me." Like that was possible.

"I could still hear you," Derek replied, taking a seat over the covers. Because he had weird werewolf heating powers.

Stiles took a good swig of coffee before putting it on the side table and burrowing under the covers again. "I'm gonna die."

"Maybe if you didn't drive a jeep..." YEP, THIS WAS WHAT HE WAS GOING WITH.

"I was talking about the cold," he said. "My jeep is fine."

"It's cold." Let him get you a new minivan, Stiles. Drive like a soccer mom.

"Why do you hate my jeep?" he asked. "What did it ever do to you?"

"I did nearly die in it once," Derek pointed out.

[robinonadderall]

"Well I've nearly died in it too, but that's not the jeep's fault," he said. "I ran over a kanima with it, that was pretty cool."

"Sentimental memories."

[robinonadderall]

"We've had a lot of sex in there too." You owed that jeep so much, Derek!

[justlurkinghere]

"Really uncomfortable sex." But Derek wassighing fondly at it.

"I guess you don't want to have sex in there anymore then," Stiles said. "Fine, I see how it is."

[justlurkinghere]

"Well, not right now," Derek replied. "Unless you wanted some hypothermia."

"I'm not leaving the bed," he said. "Ever."

"Not even to shower?"

[robinonadderall]

"It's too cold to shower." The bathroom was so far away!

Derek snorted at that, kindly putting his arms over Stiles to keep him warm. "Warm climates only."

"You're not cold at all, are you?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Not particularly," Derek replied, having the good grace to at least attempt looking sheepish. He mostly seemed smug, though.

"I hate you," he mumbled, burrowing further into the covers.
