Cold Moreso Than Creepy Mansion | Sunday Morning

Snow was coming and as much Stiles knew he should probably get on the road and back to school before it hit, he was really tempted to find an excuse to miss class and have a snow day tomorrow. You would too if you were curled up in bed and as cozy as he was. He briefly stuck a foot out of the covers to see if it was worth it to get out of bed and get coffee but determined it was like Antartica in the house and he was better off being uncaffeinated and fell back asleep.

But he would be getting up to pack his bag and go back to school sometime today. Probably. Maybe.

He could miss one day of class, right?

[For the werewolf boyfriend guy and vistors/housemates/etc. I am already coming up with excuses not to go into work tomorrow 'cause 8 inches of snow in my area of Maryland no thank you]

"You're not cold at all, are you?" he asked.

"Not particularly," Derek replied, having the good grace to at least attempt looking sheepish. He mostly seemed smug, though.

"I hate you," he mumbled, burrowing further into the covers.

"You love me," Derek teased. "How did you make it through last winter?"

"I had other things to worry about." This is what you get for making him happy, Derek.

Didn't that just cause all the warm fuzzies?

Derek kissed the... well, what little of Stiles that wan't under a blanket. "I'll have to keep you warm somehow."

"Gonna knit me a sweater?" he asked, smiling.

[justlurkinghere]

"I'll have to learn how to knit first."

It would be so ugly.

"Get on that," he joked. "What else do you have to offer?"

"I have blankets I could get." Turn Stiles into a mummy.

[robinonadderall]

"You think more blankets will help?" he asked. "I might suffocate."

[justlurkinghere]

"That would be a problem," Derek admitted slowly.

"What else have you got, wolf man?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Well," Derek replied, shuffling out of his shirt.

He peeked his head out of the covers. "I'm not sure where you're going with this."

The pants went next as Derek stretched out on the bed lazily. Then, with a yawn, was suddenly a lot more furry. You're welcome for your new blanket, Sitles.

Stiles laughed, shifting some in order to put his arms around Derek and pet his fur. "Show off."

Derek grumbled even as he wriggled closer for all the snuggling. And, okay, maybe a little bit of scentmarking going on. No big. It happened.

"You're ridiculous," he mumbled, scent marking Derek a little bit himself. Shut up, it was a part of cuddling.

That yearned him a playful little yip that was more suited to Puppy Joe than a massive wolf. And just look at that tail wag.

Stiles snorted. "You're such a dangerous predator."

[justlurkinghere]

All shall fear his predatory ways!

Derek flopped against him more heavily, tail thumping against the bed.

"I could go back to sleep like this," he murmured. "Just warning you."

It was so cuddly!

[justlurkinghere]

Derek sighed against him. Then slowly moved back to human. "You only like me for my fur."

[robinonadderall]

"When it's this cold yeah," he joked.
