Stiles felt like he hadn't really done enough for Derek's birthday. Sure he had ordered Chinese food (and hadn't spilled any carrying it up to the bedroom) and, yeah, he broke out the Die Hard DVD to watch (epitome of romance, right there) but he felt like it wasn't enough. Probably because hadn't gotten (or could afford) a gift that wasn't a homemade card.

Though there was one of those too sitting on the dresser.

Look, he was a college kid, he had to make do with limited resources.

"That time I was wrong," he allowed. "But you've been yelled at for legitimate reasons since then."

Derek sighed like he was so deeply put upon here. "Only a few times."

Most of the time. Let's be real.

He huffed. "More than a few times."

"I'm a saint," Derek teased, bumping Stiles' shoulder again.

"Sure you are," he said, rolling his eyes. "How's the full moon treating you tonight?"

"You're here." Being his anchor.

"So no urge to howl and run around all wolf like?" he asked.

"Are you trying to get my clothes off?" Derek asked, rubbing his head against Stiles' shoulder.

"Always," he said with a smirk. "But it's your birthday. You get to have whatever you want as many times as you want."

"You have the energy for that?"

[robinonadderall]

"Depends on what you want," Stiles said. "Give me a potential itinerary."

"Oh, I was thinking we could have some cuddling."

Such lies.

He smiled, knowing that was a lie. "If that's what you want."

"Do you?" Derek asked, curling an arm around Stiles' waist.

"I always like cuddling with you," Stiles said. "Though I kind of don't want Chinese food in my hair."

"No food play," Derek replied, leaning in for a kiss. "Okay."

Stiles kissed Derek back, smiling a little when he pulled away. "Finally found one kink we don't want to deal with."

"What about with chocolate?" Derek asked, picking up some of the food to put on the night stand.

"I could make an exception for chocolate," he allowed. "But not lo mein."

"But I'm so into sweet and sour sauce on you," Derek replied, kissing his neck.

He laughed and leaned back against the bed, trying to pull Derek along with him. "You're gonna have to find another boyfriend if you're into that."

Derek went with him easily, rubbing his cheek against Stiles' chest in sone not so subtle scent marking. "Sweet and sour is too much?"

"A little," he said, smiling at the scent marking. "You're getting all wolfy on me."

"That a problem?" Derek asked, not stopping the scent marking.

[robinonadderall]

"No," he replied. "It's just usually you're stealthier about this stuff."
