Probably because hadn't gotten (or could afford) a gift that wasn't a homemade card.

"Is that a no?" Derek asked, smiling affectionately as he bumped his forehead against Stiles'.

"I didn't say that," he said, kissing Derek again. "I'm just wondering what promises you're gonna make after you get fucked."

Derek smiled again, pushing at Stiles' shoulder to flip their positions. "Let's see how long it takes for me to get hard with you fucking me."

"I give it five minutes," he said, rolling over easily onto his back.

He wasn't wasting in time in this, thighs trembling and voice breaking as he added more fingers quickly.
