College was...college. After two years in Fandom it was kind of a slap of reality to have actual homework assignments again and, you know, having to study and stuff. It was kind of nice to have something that normal in his life again. But he was lonelier than he thought he would have been here. Then again, he hadn't been putting in a huge amount of effort to be social.

Maybe the lonely aspect of it put him on high alert for when somebody actually was paying attention to him. He had spent the morning getting the distinct feeling he was being watched while he was walking from class to class and once or twice he thought he caught a glimpse of a familiar leather jacket. At first Stiles just thought it was his head messing with him because Derek couldn't--surely he wouldn't...it had only been a week, after all...

...who was Stiles kidding, yes he would. When his last class let out and he, yet again, caught a glimpse of a familiar outline in the distance he pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed Derek's number. This was ridiculous, his life was ridiculous.

"Still kind of in shock," he said, looping his arms around Derek's neck and kissing him again.

"That good or bad?"

"Good. Of course it's good," he said. "Though we should probably wait longer than a week next time."

"Two weeks?"

[robinonadderall]

"Better." Still kind of codependent though. "Think we can make it that long?"

"Oh yeah." Not at all.

Stiles did not believe that at all. "It's a three day weekend."

"Is it?" Derek asked, looking way too excited by that.

[robinonadderall]

"Yeah," he said with a nod. "Was thinking maybe I could come home with you."

Because why attempt to make friends when you could spend all weekend in bed with your boyfriend? Totally healthy!

"I'd like that," Derek replied, pressing his nose against Stiles' throat.

"I do have to get some homework done," he said, tilting his head to the side. "So you can't be distracting me the whole time."

"Would I do that?"

Yes. A lot.

"Yes, yes you would."

Derek just looked smug. "Have any more classes today?"

[robinonadderall]

"No," he replied. "I'm surprised you don't have my schedule memorized."

That would be weird, Stiles.

"We could get food and catch up," Derek suggested. Or, you know, make out like horny teens.

[robinonadderall]

"Catch up?" Stiles repeated, unable to keep from laughing. "Derek, I've been gone a week and we've called each other every day."

Derek shrugged, not pulling away. "In the hotel room."

[robinonadderall]

"Ohhhhh you mean dirty catching up," he said, nodding. "Well yeah, I'm down for that."

"Wait, I thought you hated hotel rooms."

"Unless you want to catch up in your dorm..."

[robinonadderall]

"And scar my roommate?" he asked. "No thanks."

[justlurkinghere]

"Or the car."

And get arrested. Or glared at by campus security.

"And waste the money you spent on a hotel room?" Of course Stiles "currently broke as shit" Stilinski would think of that.

"C'mon then," Derek replied with a grin.
