Stilinski House | Thursday Afternoon

It was just Stiles and Derek in the house today since his dad was at work and Scott and Lydia had decided to focus more on trying to solve the nogitsune problem now that they were sure Stiles was fine. Stiles had spent the morning putting together a bag for Eichen House, though he wasn't quite sure what was appropriate for a stay at a place like that. Did he bring his own clothes? He had no idea.

Once that was taken care of he decided to finish up some loose ends before he got his phone taken away from him, curling up in bed and dialing Kitty's number. He figured he owed her an explanation.

"Because we're super annoying like that," Kitty told him with a tiny smile.

Stiles huffed out something that may have been a laugh. "I hope all of your optimism pays off."

"Me, too," Kitty said. "But seriously, I know so many people who've been controlled by either brainwashing or possession, and it's happened to me, too. And we all got through it, so I know you're going to get through it."

[robinonadderall]

"Did you kill people?" he asked.

[throughaphase]

"Very nearly," she admitted. "Stabbed a friend of mine through the heart with a sword. He's got a healing factor or he'd be dead. Instead I just did a lot of damage."

"I stabbed Scott with a sword," he admitted. "And I knifed Derek and locked him in the basement of his house."

[throughaphase]

"Here?" Considering Mike lived in that house, that was actually a pretty creepy thing to do.

[robinonadderall]

"Yeah," he said. "The nogitsune, it feeds off of people's pain. It can drain it from them. So I did that until he was unconscious and left him down there. Jack got him out."

[throughaphase]

"Good Jack," Kitty said, shaking her head. "So that's why the stabbing and torturing? The nogitsune needs it?"

[robinonadderall]

"I don't know if he needs it, but he sure as hell likes it," Stiles said. "He just wants destruction."

[throughaphase]

"I'm so sorry you get stuck with this," she sighed. "This sounds like the worst."

[robinonadderall]

"Well it's the worst thing I've been through as far as this supernatural stuff goes," he admitted. Couldn't really say it was the worst thing that's happened to him ever. At least not yet. "I just want it to be over."

"If it's escalating, I think that means the end of it is near," Kitty said. "That's usually how it goes, anyway."

Genre-savvy was one of her tropes.

"Great," he said dryly. "Also means it's probably going to get worse before it gets better."

[throughaphase]

"Maybe." Almost definitely. "But focus on the 'it gets better' part for now."

[robinonadderall]

"I'll try," he said. "I'll be in contact when I can."

Which might not be for awhile.

[throughaphase]

"Okay. Take care of yourself, all right?" For as much as he was able in this situation, anyway.

"I'll do my best," he said. "You do the same."

They really only needed one person going through trauma at a time."
