Stiles had absolutely no idea why Derek participated in his strange bonding activities--Flying Monkeys could have been considered abuse--but he wasn't about to complain. Derek was no Scott but it was still nice to have someone to watch horrible movies with. Making sarcastic comments to yourself was just sad.

The movie he picked this week was a Netflix suggestion after Stiles had been adding bad movies to the queue. Rodeo clowns and drug dealing conspiracies, it seemed like a must watch.

He had managed to not catch the popcorn on fire (a miracle in its own right) and was already hogging the couch even before the movie started. He had to claim his territory. Even if this wasn't his house.

[For Derek and anybody else who wants to stop by and watch a horrible movie about angsty rodeo clowns]

"Hey! It's possible I wouldn't get myself killed," Stiles said around a mouthful of popcorn. "You have no faith in me, that hurts."

"Chew, then talk." Derek demanded a certain level of class here. "This movie is terrible."

"Um, duh, why do you think I chose it?" Now he was just purposely talking with his mouth full.

"It's not even an interesting bad. Everyone is a bad actor."

"Aw, you shouldn't say that about yourself."

Derek reached over and gave his ear a flick. "Shut up."

"No violence!" Stiles said. "I'll sic Puppy Joe on you."

"Oh no. The horror," Derek deadpanned.

[robinonadderall]

"He'll bite your face off defending me." Or...he'd probably lick you and then roll over and fall asleep. "This movie has put me off being a rodeo clown."

"I don't know. It seemed like an amazing career."

[robinonadderall]

"Holy crap the acting in this," Stiles said, shaking his head. "You definitely get to pick the next movie."

"That's for sure." He'd pick something from the 90s. Deal with it, Stiles.

If he picked Clueless Stiles would never stop making fun of him. Ever.

"Don't think I've forgotten about looking for you in that porn."

"I never did porn," Derek shot back. He just ended up at a gay bar with his sister.

WHAT.

"You're hiding something from me, I know it," Stiles said. "You're not as sneaky as you think you are."

"And you're not as smart as you think you are."

[robinonadderall]

"I'm probably smarter," he said. "Come onnnnn, Derek. Just tell me. I'll figure it out eventually, I am a master of Google."

"Why would I tell you?" Derek. You just admitted there was something.

[robinonadderall]

"Because we're friends and friends share that sort of stuff," Stiles said. "Now tell me."

Ugh, bringing up the friendship card. You're the worst. "I was a model. It wasn't porn."

[robinonadderall]

"You were a model?!" Derek you were better off just fleeing upstairs.

Though Stiles probably would have followed you.

"Shut up. You won't find anything." No, Derek. You won't find anything. Stiles had mad research skills. "It wasn't like we got the insurance money right away."

[robinonadderall]

"I'm not judging you, man, you were like made for modeling." And now Stiles was getting out his phone. No reason. "I'm just surprised."

"I will break your phone." He would. Ask Scott.

[robinonadderall]

Stiles held his phone close to his chest. "I'm going to find them one way or another."
