Nameless House in Maryland | Saturday Afternoon

Stiles had somehow managed to survive four years of college without flunking out and without being killed by some supernatural being. The former was surprising to him; the latter to everyone else. The ceremony was done, his father was safely on a plane home and the only thing left was existential dread of entering the workforce.

Well. Derek and the dog were in the house too.

[For the guy and super SP. Holy hell it's been four years since he graduated]

"Ready for your career of being my kept man?" he asked.

Derek huffed out a laugh before trying to look serious about that. "By having dinner and a cocktail ready for you when you get home?"

"Maybe a coke and chicken nuggets."

"Yep, you're a professional adult now," he deadpanned back,

[robinonadderall]

"How are chicken nuggets not professional?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"You need one green thing." Said the guy who ate all the meat he possibly could, but whatever.

"You are lecturing me on vegetables?" Stiles said. "I'm the one that eats a salad once or twice a week."

[justlurkinghere]

"Because I make them for you," Derek replied. "I don't eat bacon anymore."

Which counted for something. Or would if it was completely true.

"And I'm very impressed with that," he said, leaning in to give Derek a kiss.

[justlurkinghere]

"Even though it's impossible for me to have a heart condition," he grumbled into the kiss.

"I'd rather not take the chance," Stiles joked.

[justlurkinghere]

Derek sighed. "You are so lucky that I love you."

[robinonadderall]

"I know," he said sweetly, kissing Derek again. "Thanks for putting up with my dad while he was here."

"He doesn't threaten me nearly as much as Cora threatens you," Derek replied, settling down on the bed so he could spoon the hell out of Stiles. He was gonna be big spoon this time, damn it.

Also he kinda liked the Sheriff a lot.

"I choose to think Cora does it out of love," he said, settling against Derek.

"She threatens me too if that helps."

[robinonadderall]

Stiles chuckled. "Yeah it kind of does make me feel better, actually."

Derek pressed a kiss to the back of his neck for that. "I think she likes the dog more than the both of us."

"I don't blame her," he said, baring more of his neck to Derek. "He's pretty cute."

[justlurkinghere]

"Just as long as she doesn't try kidnapping him," he muttered quietly, taking full advantage of Stiles' offering and the newly emptied house with a bite.

"Gotta start looking for jobs," he murmured, closing his eyes. "Soon."

Not necessarily now, however.

"You'll find one you like," Derek assured him quietly, working slowly on sucking a bruise high up on Stiles' neck now that he was allowed to again.

Stiles smiled. "Thank you for not doing this while my dad was here."

[justlurkinghere]

"You'd kill me if I gave your dad a heart attack," Derek pointed out.

[robinonadderall]

"That's very true," he said. "Though I'm pretty sure all he'd do is tease us until you die of embarrassment."
