True to his word, Derek wasted no time getting a pool built at their place. It was a shame they only had a few weeks to enjoy it but Stiles intended on spending every minute his pale skin would allow swimming in it.

Today was the first day it was deemed ready to swim in. Stiles thought maybe it deserved a ribbon cutting or something but since big red ribbons were hard to come by, he settled for just putting on his trunks and slathering on an indecent amount of sunscreen on to celebrate.

Which was kind of lame. He wished he had Derek's inability to get sunburn.

"I'll try my best," he replied dryly, pushing forward to get Stiles back into the pool.

Stiles slid back in the water at Derek's encouragement, ducking himself under completely. It was no way as cold this time around. Thank god, 'cause he was kind of a wuss about the cold.

Derek wasn't long in joining him, popping back up after being submerged to shake off the water and grin over at Stiles. "Better this time?"

"Much," he said, swimming towards Derek again. "Anybody tell you that you look really good all wet?"

"Yeah?" Derek asked, waiting until he was close enough to pull in toward him. "Once or twice."

"Well it should be said more than that," he said, looping his arms around Derek's neck. Man it was nice to have a fiance who you could trust to hold you up in any situation.

Which only meant Derek was forced to hold onto Stiles' ass to keep him up in the water. Yes. That was it. "So do you. Even if you don't believe me."

"I believe that you believe that."

Derek snorted in amusement, moving in to kiss him rather than argue the point. "You are so perfect," he muttered between kisses.

Hearing that would never fail to make Stiles turn red. At least this time he could distract from it by kissing Derek back.

Hope the neighbor was enjoying the show!

Which was why Derek would always say it to him. And would continue to kiss him back with more groping than was strictly necessary for the day time.

In his defense... he had no defense for this.

Stiles wasn't doing much better on his end, hands finding their way to Derek's hair to muss it up while he kissed him. He was so weak when it came to this.

It probably came with the territory of being perpetually stuck in the honeymoon phase of a relationship.

Derek tilted his head to mouth at one of the spots on Stiles' neck. "I really want you to fuck me," he muttered. Because look at all the progress they'd made on being open about these things!

With their never ending honeymoon phase.

Stiles made a soft moaning sound, both at the mouth on his neck and Derek's suggestion. "Right now?"

"Yeah," Derek replied, half muffled by his attempts to renew the hickey he'd left before. "Unless---I can wait if you want."

He so could not.

Stiles' resolve at the "no pool sex in the daytime" rule was crumbling quickly. Damn Derek and his hickeys and his looking good while wet.

"I, uh--" It was getting hard to think. Damn it. "Fuck it--okay. Have any suggestions on how we're going to do this?"

As if Derek hadn't been thinking about this since the pool idea happened.

He clearly had not! Much. Okay, he'd given this a lot of thought. But it had been a night in most of his plans!

"Shallow end?" he suggested, kissing Stiles' jaw. "Or on the stairs?"

"Shallow end works." It'd at least be a little discreet. He kissed Derek again eagerly, mind now made up about this. "Need to get you ready."

Discreet. Sure.

Derek grinned at him, easily moving away toward the shallow end so he could haul himself out of the pool to grab the lube. Because they were absolutely terrible at control. The both of them.

He glanced around quickly before carefully rejoining Stiles in the pool.

"You are so happy about this," he teased. "Giddy, even."

Derek made a face, holding out the bottle for Stiles to take. "I am not."

He really, really was.

"So you want to stop?" he asked, having no intention to do so.

[justlurkinghere]

"...if you want to." His dreams of semi-public sex were ruined!

He shook his head. "In no way do I want to stop. Unless a neighbor suddenly decides to do some gardening."

"I'd hear them." Because neither of them would be distracted.
