How was it that Stiles' summer internship was more tiring than the classes? Unpaid hard labor, that's what this was. Unpaid hard labor that was required for him to get a good job out of college. Almost immediately after getting home from the police station he was working at Stiles went upstairs and flopped into bed. And immediately got a Puppy Joe sitting on his head.

Life was hard.

He was just pushing Derek into passive aggressive nudism with that.

"Why would I need an outfit?" Other than to look like and adorable pony sized dog.

"Because you'd look cute!"

"I doubt they'd have anything that would fit a wolf." Like that would stop anyone, Derek.

"You have a point," he said, sighing. "Too bad. It would have been a sight to see."

"You just want to take pictures to put online." Derek was drawing on his vast knowledge of the internet here.

"We could probably win some sort of cutest dog award," Stiles said. "We could get a trophy."

"No," Derek said, twisting in place to pin Stiles down. "Not happening."

"But we could put it on our mantle!" Stiles joked, moving along with Derek easily.

"Do you even know what a mantle is?"

[robinonadderall]

Stiles rolled his eyes. "The thing above a fireplace."

Derek hummed, leaning down for a kiss. "Still not happening," he muttered.

"You're no fun," he said, kissing Derek back. "No fun at all."

"You're worried about the dog killing you in your sleep for dressing him up, but not me?" Derek asked, grinning despite himself.

Stiles smiled. "You wouldn't kill me in my sleep."

"I'd wait until you were awake?" Derek suggested, pushing up on Stiles' shirt to touch skin.

"You wouldn't kill me at all," he said. "You love me too much. It's gross how much you love me."

"It's not gross." It was a little gross.

[robinonadderall]

"Totally gross," he said. "We make people gag."

[justlurkinghere]

"They're just jealous." Which was a statement that made them more sickening.

"Sure they are." Stiles didn't believe that at all. "If that's what helps you sleep at night."

"I could leave you to rest after your long, grueling day at work," Derek offered.

[robinonadderall]

"You don't want to do that," he said knowingly.

[justlurkinghere]

Not in the slightest. "You sure?" Derek asked, kissing Stiles' neck now.

"Positive," Stiles said, tilting his neck towards him. "You're being cuddly."

"Maybe I'm just making sure you're not more injured by those files."
