What was the point of spring break if you had tests right after it was over? Stiles should be sleeping until noon and playing video games until he couldn't see straight but, no, he was in the living room with a textbook open. And of course it was for his stupid "Statistics for Criminology and Criminal Justice" course. Who invited math to this degree?

This spring break was laaaaaaaaaaame.

"Did you even get sleep?" Derek asked, eyeing the god awful stack of books.

"For a couple hours, yeah," he said with a nod. "I guess I'm getting into cop hours early this way. Might want to get used to me going to sleep after you and waking up before you."

Derek sighed and leaned over to kiss him real quick. "You just want to keep.me from making bacon before you wake up."

"I'd let you make all the bacon you want if I could sleep in every day." And he only said that because he knew that wouldn't happen in the future.

"Even if I make cop jokes with it?"

[robinonadderall]

"I think it's your right as my husband to make cop jokes," he said with a smile.

Oh, using the h word was cheating, Stiles.

Derek beamed. "I guess so."

[robinonadderall]

Stiles smiled. "Aw, you brought out your dorky smile."

[justlurkinghere]

"I don't have a dorky smile." He was clearly in denial about this.

[robinonadderall]

"You so do," he said. "When you're really happy about something."

[justlurkinghere]

"Maybe I like hearing you say 'husband'," Derek replied with a less intense smile, but one at the word nonetheless.

"Sap," Stiles teased even though he liked hearing the word as much as Derek did.

[justlurkinghere]

Derek shrugged, not terribly upset about being called a sap for this. "Wait until we actually have set wedding plans."

[robinonadderall]

"You already have a buttload of wedding magazines stacked up," Stiles said, shaking his head. "I'm surprised the wedding isn't half planned already."

It basically was. Shh.

"I'll want at least some input from you for it."

[robinonadderall]

"I gave input." About panties and sex toys.

[justlurkinghere]

"So, I should pick the cake?" He'd pick the flavors Stiles hated, so help him.

[robinonadderall]

"I should help pick the flavor," he said quickly. "But you can pick how it looks."

Unless Derek wanted a Space Battles themed cake.

That was totally what he wanted. In fact, that was the theme of the entire wedding.

"So a big wolf shaped cake," he said dryly.

"If that's what you want, love of my life."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek snickered and leaned in to kiss him again. "Aww, look at you all ready to be married."

[robinonadderall]

"I'm definitely ready," he said, kissing him back. "You ready?"

"Haven't chased me off yet." Despite all their drama.

[robinonadderall]

"Good," he said, kissing him again. "Got any plans for today?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Was thinking about trying to begin yard work." And probably kill half the plants he might attempt.
