What was the point of spring break if you had tests right after it was over? Stiles should be sleeping until noon and playing video games until he couldn't see straight but, no, he was in the living room with a textbook open. And of course it was for his stupid "Statistics for Criminology and Criminal Justice" course. Who invited math to this degree?

This spring break was laaaaaaaaaaame.

"I don't burn," Derek replied like the smug asshole he was. "And I was thinking you needed a break from studying."

To help him.

"But what about the tomatoes and peas you want to plant?" he teased.

[justlurkinghere]

"You're going to be eating those," Derek replied like it was a threat. "So you can help plant them."

[robinonadderall]

"But gardening is for lame old people," he joked. "Like you."

[justlurkinghere]

"Gardening isn't lame," Derek muttered. "Maybe I'll just take my shirt off and see if any of the neighbors come over to help."

And then he'd hate everything because people would be hitting on him.

"I'm sure that'd bother you more than it'd bother me." Because housewives hitting on Derek was funny. When younger people did it however there'd be issues.

You're a terrible fiancé, Stiles. Just terrible.

Derek sighed like the whole world hated him. "Any requests for plants?"

"Can you plant kale?" he asked, reaching to pull Derek closer. "It's good for you."

[justlurkinghere]

Well, it would be the one plant he wouldn't manage to kill. Fucking kale.

Derek sighed again, but it was far less put upon because he was getting cuddling. "I can plant kale. And tomatoes and green beans."

Stiles placed his textbook aside so he could get his cuddle on fully. "Gonna plant some flowers out front."

"Could do some wolfsbane if you'll handle it. Good to have antidotes on hand."

Because their lives were special.

Also, they were pretty, blue flowers.

"Good idea," he said, leaning in to kiss him. "Can be my one chore in the house."

"Oh, is that it?"

[robinonadderall]

"There another chore I should be doing?"

[justlurkinghere]

"I could think of a few things," Derek replied, pushing him back to pin against the couch with a grin.

Some of which actually weren't sexual!

Stiles moved back against the couch, chuckling. "Such as?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Clean up your office on occasion." Meaning the room where Stiles' books and strange papers lived to make people think he was a serial killer. Corpse lividity was not a normal thing to have charts on! "Maybe laundry," Derek said, kissing Stiles' throat.

"My office is clean." It just had a collection of empty soda cans.

"Is that what you call it?"

[robinonadderall]

"It's my office," he said, biting at Derek's chin. "I get to decide what clean is in there?"

"And what about laundry?" Derek asked, curling a hand around Stiles' neck and smiling at the bite.

[robinonadderall]

"I'll consider it." He'd do no such thing.

[justlurkinghere]

"Uh huh." That was such a lie.

Derek sighed, pushing on Stiles' shoulders so he could have room to practically sit in his lap.

"So you said something about a study break?" he asked, putting his hands on Derek's hips.

[justlurkinghere]

Oh no. Not that! "I hear those help with the learning process."
