Non-Creepy Mansion | Specifically Under Derek's Bed | Tuesday Afternoon

It was dangerous when Stiles got bored. He tended to create little "projects" for himself that really had no point but were something he'd quickly become obsessed with and the next thing you know Sheriff Stilinski can't find anything in the kitchen because Stiles decided to organize the pantry and fridge by expiration date.

Which probably explained why his dad paid for the portal ticket back to Fandom.

Stiles' latest project was going through the clothes they had in the bedroom to pick out stuff he wanted to bring to Beacon Hills and get the rest sorted in ROYGBIV order if Derek didn't come home in time to stop him. The closet had been taken care of, as had the dresser drawers. Now he was under the bed, trying to find clothes that had either gotten kicked under there or dragged in by Puppy Joe.

Boxers, t-shirts and socks he had been expecting. What he hadn't been expecting was a tiny black box that he had never seen before. Too lazy to wriggle out from under the bed (it had taken way too much shifting to get under there in the first place), Stiles brought out his phone and turned on the flashlight so he could see what was inside.

Did it count as an invasion of privacy if this was pretty much your bedroom?

When Stiles opened the box to find a ring he decided that, yes, this was an invasion of Derek's privacy. Because the ring was silver colored (though Stiles guessed it was platinum because this was Derek we were talking about) and there was a triskelion engraved in it. If Stiles were brave enough he would guess that it'd fit his ring finger if he tried it on.

Stiles let out a shaky breath. He definitely wasn't supposed to find this.

"The tattoo isn't enough?" Derek asked, pulling at Stiles' shirt to get it off.

"Not everybody can see the tattoo," he said, tugging his shirt off. "And fewer people know my real name."

"Well," Derek started before getting distracted by kissing Stiles' throat and shoulder. "What do you propose?"

He needed to stop trying to be funny with his word choice.

He smiled at the wording. "I mean I should be asking you for advice when it comes to possessiveness."

"You can't give me hickies," Derek said, starting on one for Stiles. Since he was nice like that. "And normal humans can't smell you on me."

He was at a loss with what else to do.

Stiles sighed. "That makes things difficult."

"Maybe if you like, you should put a ring on it," he teased. "Maybe the kind you get in a gumball machine?"

"Don't tempt me," he joked, reaching down to unbutton Derek's jeans. "I'd get you a gaudy pink one."

"I'd wear it with pride and say my loving fiancé bought it for me," Derek replied, leaning back to help with that.

"Then I'm definitely getting you one," Stiles said. "Also we're about to have sex for the first time as fiancés. That should be special."

Derek was forced to kiss him for that. Forced.

"Putting on music and eye contact special?"

[robinonadderall]

"It could be," Stiles said before kissing Derek back. "Or it could be rough sex followed by a romantic bath special. Your call."

Derek snickered into the next kiss. "Only we could consider that special."

But he was very obliging in pushing Stiles firmly back against the bed to get his jeans off as well.

"Well our sex lives are better than everybody else's," Stiles said, flopping back against the bed.

"It's certainly exciting," Derek replied, pulling Stiles jeans down and tossing them aside to ruin Stiles' careful pile system of organization.

Luckily Stiles was so distracted he didn't even remember he had an organization system going. "Exciting and special. And you love it."

"Just a little bit." Liiiies.

He leaned down to bite Stiles' shoulder out of the kindness of his heart. He was a giver like that. "Might need a reminder."

Stiles made a noise at the bite, sliding his arms over Derek's shoulders. "You want to fuck me or the other way around?"

"You can fuck me after," Derek promised, letting his hands to move down to Stiles' hips.

"Ambitious," Stiles said, lifting his hips a little. "Think we can manage?"

"With enough motivation, I think we can..."

And the motivation was probably going to be a lot of making out between rounds.

"Well you are good at motivating me," he said, lightly dragging his nails down Derek's back. "It's a talent of yours."

Derek grinned at him, just the hint of fangs showing at that. "Did you move the lube in your organizing?"

[robinonadderall]

"Nope," he said, smiling. "Unfortunately I can't move it any closer than it is."

[justlurkinghere]

"Next time, you should work on that," Derek replied, having to lean forward to grab the bottle in question. "I would have worn the plug if I'd known you'd be snooping."

All part of his romantic proposal.
