Since Stiles' birthday was on a Wednesday this year he had a stupid thing called school and an exam getting in the way of actually celebrating on the 8th. He apparently couldn't not celebrate it (per Derek) so he came down to the island to birthday it up early. And then next weekend he'd go to Beacon Hills to birthday it up late. It was difficult being him.

He had a few vague (and not so vague) plans in mind to celebrate but right now he was content with laying on the couch. They had all weekend after all.

"I'd forgive it that one time," Stiles said. "Because it was my birthday."

"Even if I blew you in public?"

Rude, Derek.

"You have an obsession with that."

[justlurkinghere]

"Do not." So did.

[robinonadderall]

"Do too," he said. "I think it's your ultimate fantasy."

"I thought that involved lumberjacks."

[robinonadderall]

"Oh I see how it is," he said, leaning back against the pillows. Which was kind of a mistake because it shifted...things.

And look where Derek's attention went! "Do you?" He asked, leaning in toward Stiles.

"Ye-es," he stuttered. He was just going to stay perfectly still now.

"Could you pass me an eggroll?"

[robinonadderall]

"Why can't you get it?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"I'm comfortable." Aren't you, Stiles?

[robinonadderall]

No, he was not.

He sighed, moving to grab the bag of eggrolls to toss at Derek. Just ignore the little whining noise.

"Something wrong?" Derek asked. He looked oh so innocent there. "You pull a muscle?"

[robinonadderall]

"Oh don't act like you don't know what it is." You sucked at being innocent, Derek.

"I'm being surprised."

Not smug or anything.

[robinonadderall]

"Would it surprise you more to know you won't get to see or touch it right away?"

[justlurkinghere]

"Because you want to keep eating?" Please say that's the case. Because food was at least a distraction.

[robinonadderall]

"Nope," he said. "We're gonna do something else first."

[justlurkinghere]

"And what might that be?"

[robinonadderall]

"It's something that's going to require you to get naked."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek had to pause mid-way through removing his shirt. Because impatience was his middle name. "What's my incentive?"

He shrugged innocently. "Might have found some leather gloves."

[justlurkinghere]

And there went Derek's shirt! Magic, Stiles. Magic.

"Wait until my birthday. I'll have to make this up to you."

[robinonadderall]

"Somehow I think I'm going to have as much fun as you doing this," Stiles said, carefully leaning over to pull said gloves out of the side table. "You don't need to make up anything."
