Since Stiles' birthday was on a Wednesday this year he had a stupid thing called school and an exam getting in the way of actually celebrating on the 8th. He apparently couldn't not celebrate it (per Derek) so he came down to the island to birthday it up early. And then next weekend he'd go to Beacon Hills to birthday it up late. It was difficult being him.

He had a few vague (and not so vague) plans in mind to celebrate but right now he was content with laying on the couch. They had all weekend after all.

"They're very... pretty." Look, that was the best he had right now.

"Aww," he said, leaning up to kiss Derek. "That's sweet."

Well, how could Derek not kiss him back? He shifted forward enough to run his fingers through the hair at the nape of Stiles' neck.

Stiles groaned, moving his hands down to cup Derek's ass. "I--I'm approving of this making love thing."

"It's not bad," Derek agreed. He was being subtle about his enjoyment. Really. Ignore the quiet groans.

"Come on," Stiles said, jerking up his hips again. "Come on."

Derek nodded, closing his eyes to concentrate on fucking Stiles. Even with going slow like this, he was not going to last as long as he would like.

"Oh," he gasped, eyes closing so he could completely focus on what was happening right now. "This is--this--fuck, it's so good."

Derek groaned, moving a little faster now. "C'mon..."

"I'm almost there," he said, back arching up. "Just--talk to me."

"You're so good," Derek babbled. "So good. Look at you."

Stiles dragged his nails up Derek's back, feeling himself getting closer. Between the praise and the slow and steady way Derek was fucking him it didn't take long before Stiles was coming untouched, moaning Derek's name loudly.

"Fuck, Stiles--" Derek moved faster, hands balling into fists in concentration. "Fuck."

He'd claim it clearly wasn't the intimacy of the moment that made him come there. Because that would be ridiculous.

Totally ridiculous. Derek would never do such a thing.

Stiles flopped back against the bed, breathing heavily. Despite this he was still trying to curl around Derek as much as he could. Like a sweaty octopus or something.

Of course not! Derek was stoic and manly.

And he was also kissing Stiles' neck lazily. "I like your birthday."

"I like it too," he said lazily. "We're gonna stay just like this for a few hours."

"Then food," Derek muttered. "Then sex."

He was great at plans.

"Good plan," he murmured. "So much birthday sex."
