Valentine's Day Mansion | Mid-Morning

So it was Valentine's Day. Stiles actually hadn't planned anything special beyond spending time with Derek, which might have made him a lame boyfriend but whatever, he was a broke college student. He should be forgiven of such things.

He should also be forgiven for sleeping in until almost noon. Shut up, he had a biology exam yesterday. Which was stupid since he wasn't even majoring in that. Stupid gen ed requirements.

Yeah they were so bad that Stiles couldn't even tell there was pollen in the air. They had a serious problem.

"Yes, sir," he said. "Don't think I didn't notice the bacon you made."

Derek lifted his eyebrows, trying to look as innocent as possible. "That's for you."

And the test bacon. That Derek had to eat to make sure it was okay for him.

"Yeah right."

[justlurkinghere]

"It was your gift to me," he tried again.

[robinonadderall]

"I was not consulted about this," he said, reaching for a piece of bacon to feed Puppy Joe. The dog was allowed to have bacon but not Derek.

"You mumbled something about clowns when I asked." While you were sleeping, Stiles.

"That doesn't count!"

"I think it does." Of course he did. Bacon was involved.

[robinonadderall]

He sighed. "Only because it's Valentine's Day."

[justlurkinghere]

"You're so romantic," Derek teased, leaning over to kiss him.

[robinonadderall]

Stiles smiled into the kiss. "Nobody beats you when it comes to sappy romance."

"Is that a problem?" Derek asked, reaching to steady Stiles' coffee while deepening the kiss.

[robinonadderall]

"No, no complaints," he said, smiling. He smartly leaned over to put the coffee cup on the side table.

"Puppy Joe, out."

Don't watch mommy and daddy make out.

"Don't believe we've successfully taught him that trick," Stiles said inbetween kisses. "Or how to close a door behind him."

Derek groaned in annoyance, blindly waving his hand in the direction of the dog. Maybe they should stop kissing for this.

"Derek--" Okay one more kiss and then he'd finish his sentence. "Derek, he thinks you're playing with him."

As evident by the fact that Puppy Joe was gnawing on Derek's hand. "He's a terrible dog."

"I'll still be here if you get up to kick him out of the room," Stiles said. "I promise."

Derek looked from the dog, to Stiles, back to the dog. Then sighed. "Fine, but you better be naked."

Was it the pollen or not?

It was not.

Stiles laughed, having no problem meeting Derek's request. He pulled off his sleep pants and kicked them onto the floor.

It was kind of cold but he had the feeling he wouldn't be complaining soon.

Derek deposited the dog just outside the door, placing the syrupy plate next to him as an apology before locking the poor dog out. "I should have brought chocolates."

"We barely got through breakfast." Before the need to make out took over.

[justlurkinghere]

Derek quickly rejoined him on the bed, pressing Stiles down.

"I've been up for a while." Which made it better.

"Were you watching me sleep again?" Stiles asked playfully.
