Room 329 | Wednesday Morning
Stiles usually wasn't too huge of a fan of Fandom weirdness affecting him, but he had to admit once in awhile good things came from it. The milkshake deliciousness from Sunday, for example. Another example? The island having even less patience with Stiles growing out his hair than Stiles himself had. When he woke up Wednesday he found that the awkward porcupine hair he had been hiding under a hat the last few weeks had turned into something he wouldn't mind being seen sporting in public. And it took half the time it usually did. Thanks, Fandom!
Now what was he going to do with this hat? It smelled kind of weird. Could you put hats in the wash? Maybe it was a lost cause. It might need to be burned. Or given to Puppy Joe as a chew toy.
[Wah-lah, long hair. Door and post are open]

It took Natalie a while to realize she wasn't being followed, so by the time she came down the stairs from the next floor up, he was already sniffing around Stiles' open door, because that was what he did.
It was possible he thought something here smelled like a dog.

He wasn't strictly a dog person, if his enthusiastic reaction to Mr. Moxy was anything to go by. "Hey, a kitty!"
no subject
Because he was padding on in and meowing at Stiles.

It occurred to him that trying to pet strange animals wasn't that smart but kitty.

But she wasn't here yet and Moxy was kind of wondering whether Stiles had any treats. Because that would be cool.
But he was going to sniff his hand curiously even if there weren't.

"Oh my god I really hope you're not a human in a cat's body," Stiles said. "Though I figure if you were Cade you'd be acting weirder."

And then Natalie was at the door. A beat passed, as she noted that yes, her cat was here, and hey, someone's hair was visible and longer. "Oh. So that's what it looks like without the cap."
no subject
"It's a new development," he said. "Is this your cat? Or friend who has turned into a cat?"
no subject
"It's my cat," she said. "His name's Mr. Moxy and he has very little respect for my wishes regarding following me."

Probably for the best for a variety of reasons.

"Fine," she said. It wasn't accurate or true but it was what you said. "Had a mildly interesting Saint Patrick's Day. You?"

He patted himself on the back for being able to string words together.

Natalie just looked vaguely amused. "You're quite the blusher."
