Nameless House | Friday Afternoon

As of  this morning Stiles was no longer a teenager. Twenty didn't feel too different from nineteen though he did have a minor crisis over the last few days that would be much more appropriate on his twenty-fifth or thirtieth birthday. How did this getting old thing happen? Who allowed this?

Ignore the fact that he still had a babyface and probably would until he was forty.

At least he had classes this morning to make him feel young. And homework to do this weekend. He tossed his bag on the floor of the living room when he got home, deciding he could worry about that on Sunday night. It was his birthday he shouldn't have to do homework.

Stiles sighed. "It's been months since you moved in and you're still amazed by it."

"You don't do the same thing when saying you have a fiance?"

[robinonadderall]

"Well not as much as you do the house thing." Actually they were both as equally sappy about that. "Are you gonna give our kids googly eyes until they turn eighteen?"

"No." He really, really was. And he'd be the most embarrassingly involved dad ever. With his minivan and his healthy snacks.

Derek was gonna become a kid's soccer coach, wasn't he?

"Sure you're not," Stiles said, kissing him on the cheek. "Come on, water's getting cold."

He was going to be the best damn couch ever.

Derek kissed him again before pulling away to scrub his beard clean. "Anything else you want for your birthday?"

Since he wasn't allowed to sugar daddy it up.

Stiles stepped out of the tub, grabbing a couple of towels for them. "Cuddling in bed?"

"Cuddling works for me," Derek replied quickly, starting the tub draining before he got out as well.

Like Derek ever turned down cuddling.

"I didn't think you'd object," he said, handing Derek a towel before heading into the bedroom. Tossing his own towel aside, Stiles crawled into bed.

Derek dried off and attempted to soak up the splashed water with both their towels before putting them in the hamper. And then he joined Stiles, sliding up next to and half on top of him.

Stiles smiled softly, putting his arms around Derek and tangling their legs together. "Thanks for a good birthday."

"Of course," Derek muttered, inhaling their mixes scents and Stiles' contentment. "I love you."

"I love you too," he murmured. "Even when you're smelling me."

[justlurkinghere]

For that, Derek smiled wider and pressed in close to really sniff at Stiles' neck. "You smell good."

"Well I was just sitting in a tub of our combined stink," he said lightly. "For the record I think you smell good too."

Though that was more from his shampoo than anything else.

"Thank you," Derek said, completely taking the compliment like the strange werewolf he was.

[robinonadderall]

"One of the rare times you actually take a compliment and it's about your smell," he said, sighing. "I'm marrying a weirdo."

[justlurkinghere]

"But you're marrying me anyway," Derek teased.

[robinonadderall]

"For reasons unknown," he joked.

[justlurkinghere]

That earned him a little bite. "I'll show you reasons."

Stiles laughed. "Why did that sound like a threat?"

[justlurkinghere]

"It did not." It so, so did.

[robinonadderall]

"Totally did." He didn't sound the least bit threatened however.

[justlurkinghere]

"You just think I'm threatening," Derek replied, pushing on Stiles' shoulder so he could pin him in place by using Stiles' chest as a pillow.

Stiles chuckled again and put his hands in Derek's hair. "I don't think you're threatening at all."
