If Stiles was truly honest with himself he would be able to admit that buying a house would soon lead to him and Derek living there full time together no matter how much Derek insisted it wouldn't turn out like that. Not that Stiles was complaining. In fact he looked at their codependency with complete fondness. It was nice knowing he'd have someone to come home to. Even if he wasn't getting his homework done as quickly as he used to.

He was trying to fix that right now, taking up one of the spare bedrooms as a sort of office. He was finishing up some reading for his Juvenile Deliquency course and then had to look into getting an internship this summer. It was all very boring.

Oh, being an adult. It generally was very boring.

Though 'Derek moving in full time' mostly meant 'Derek finally brought the dog' so there was that. They'd been codependent the whole time!
