It was kind of nice having a place to himself. Sure the whole cleaning aspect sucked and sometimes it was scary when he heard strange noises at night but for the most part it was nice. He got to use his jeep all the time and he didn't have a roommate giving him side eye all the time. And he had a kitchen to cook stuff in!

"Stuff" being top ramen. Look, his skills were limited.

"Smells like you," Derek replied. "Like us."

"Good," Stiles said, giving Derek a quick kiss. "That's how it should be."

"You're good at that part," Derek replied, kissing him back. "Not minding the strange things."

Meaning werewolf things.

"It's not strange," he said with a shrug. "At least not for you. So it's not strange for me either."

"Strange for most people," Derek amended with another kiss. "I don't have to hide parts of me."

"I'm sure I do strange stuff too," he said. "Everybody does."

"Like your thing about bacon."

"That is not weird." It was him being concerned!

"It's so weird. I'm a werewolf. High cholesterol isn't going to be my problem."

"...you might be the exception."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek rolled his eyes at that. "Does that mean I can have bacon again?"

He sighed. "I'll think about it."

"But you need to be careful with it." Derek, no. "Human and all."

[robinonadderall]

Stiles chuckled. "You're basically the worst."

"I could just throw out your ramen instead, but you might starve."

[robinonadderall]

"I would," he said. "I really would."

"Maybe for our anniversary, I'll get you cooking classes." Which wouldn't end in a kitchen on fire at all.

He lifted his eyebrows. "How would that be fun for me?"

"It'd be fun for me," Derek replied. "See you in a cute apron."

Now he was being a jerk.

"Cute apron with no pants on underneath?"

Now he was getting it!

"Maybe some little shorts."

Stiles pretended to think about that for a moment. "Nah, not worth learning to cook."

Derek sighed before leaning down to kiss him again. "Not even for kitchen sex?"

"We can't do kitchen sex if you cook?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Yeah, but you'd look nice in that apron," Derek replied.
