It was kind of nice having a place to himself. Sure the whole cleaning aspect sucked and sometimes it was scary when he heard strange noises at night but for the most part it was nice. He got to use his jeep all the time and he didn't have a roommate giving him side eye all the time. And he had a kitchen to cook stuff in!

"Stuff" being top ramen. Look, his skills were limited.

He was just lucky that Derek didn't complain about him tasting like ramen.

"Can you guess why I showed up on a Tuesday?" Derek teased, running his fingers through Stiles' hair.

"You mean it wasn't to police what I'm eating?" he joked.

"I could," Derek replied. "But then you'd just end up eating ice cream all the time instead."

He was so confused by your metabolism, Stiles.

"So why did you show up on a Tuesday night then?" he asked.

"I missed you," Derek replied like that was the only obvious answer. "The dog is a terrible big spoon."

"I missed you too," he said, kissing Derek again. "That huge bed to myself lost its novelty a while ago."

"Not as much fun to starfish out on it?" Derek muttered, tilting his head to kiss Stiles back. He'd like to say the angle of being a little taller rather than a little shorter wasn't novel, but it totally was.

Don't get used to it, Derek.

"I missed being the big spoon."

He'd get used to what he wanted!

"You also miss someone making coffee for you in the morning."

"I'm perfectly capable of making my own coffee," he said. "But it's better when you do it 'cause you're usually naked while you do it."

At least when Mike wasn't in the house.

There was that hindrance on Derek's nudist lifestyle.

Derek hummed, running his fingers down Stiles' neck. "You pervert."

Stiles smiled and shrugged. "I am what I am."

"It might get too cold for me to do that in a month or two," Derek replied. Which was false because Derek thought Stiles was just being a wimp when it got chilly.

Werewolf heating blanket that he was.

"Yeah, right," Stiles said. "You never get cold."

"I do have more body hair." And a mountain man beard in the making.

"And you can turn into a wolf."

[justlurkinghere]

"Pretty sure you benefit from that in the winter too." The cuddling was adorable, okay?

"I wasn't complaining," he said, kissing Derek's chin. "I enjoy it a lot."

Okay, that was unbearably sweet. Derek flushed a little, failing to supress a smile. "Good. That's good."

"Want some Easy Mac for dinner or did you already eat?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Are you offering to provide for me?" Derek teased. He hooked his feet together behind Stiles' back to keep him in place. "How romantic."

"Provide you with Easy Mac," he said, leaning closer to Derek. "Not that much effort so it's not really romantic."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek took advantage of that to pull him in for another kiss. "It's the thought that counts?"

"Or you're a sap."

[justlurkinghere]

"I don't think you understand my fiancé," Derek replied like he wasn't talking to him. "He's not the best at romantic gestures, but I love him anyway."
