So Derek had...quite the weekend. It was weird for Stiles too but he knew that was nothing compared to what Derek went through. Stiles wasn't even sure if he wanted to see his mother again if it would mean having to say goodbye again.

Stiles still wasn't great at this comforting thing but he was doing what he could. Mostly that meant he bought donuts and coffee at JGOB while Derek was still upstairs in their room. See? Comfort!

Though it probably didn't help that Stiles was eating all the jelly donuts in the kitchen instead of letting Derek know there was food.

Well, since he was so insistent, Derek had to crawl onto the bed to join him. "Feeling better about the drop?"

"A little," he said. "You still need to make it up to me. It was traumatizing."

"Traumatizing?" Derek replied, smothering a laugh against Stiles' neck.

"Yup," Stiles said. "I need to be comforted."

"I'll have to think of something then," Derek said, tugging at the collar of Stiles' shirt with one finger.

"More hickeys?" Like Stiles needed more of those.

They had problems. Serious problems.

"We didn't have time for it this weekend," Derek pointed out.

"We didn't," he said, nipping at Derek's chin. "And god knows I can't go back to school without giant marks."

"Someone might think you're available without them." It was a real concern here!

Territory marking. Oh yeah.

"Nobody is going to think that," he said. "And even if they did I would correct them."

Derek licked at Stiles' throat. "This works too."

Stiles shut his eyes and tilted his neck up to Derek. "Get to comforting."

"Anyone tried?" Derek asked before biting down on the soft flesh high up on Stiles' neck.

Stiles inhaled sharply. "Y-yeah. Once."

Derek hummed in interest, too busy soothing the bite mark with his tongue to actually ask anything. Really, this made it seem like he was a vampire instead of a werewolf.

Stiles ran his hands over Derek's shoulders. "It was a girl in my English class. She asked if I wanted to get coffee with her."

"And?" Derek asked, adding another sucking bite to Stiles' collection.

Stiles groaned softly, hitching his legs up against Derek's hips. "I told her I had a boyfriend."

"Not tempted?" Derek teased, holding onto Stiles' thigh with one hand to grind against him slowly.

"Of course not," Stiles said. "I've got you to come home to."

That got Derek to smile and pull up for a kiss that was a little sweeter than what they were doing rightly called for. Because he was easy like that.

Stiles smiled into the kiss, moving his hands down to squeeze Derek's ass. "So you should totally comfort me with your dick."

SO ROMANTIC.

And that just made Derek laugh, shaking with the force of it. "'Comfort me with your dick'?"

"Yup," Stiles said, smacking Derek's ass. "Dick comforting."
