Derek had wanted a classier date than Denny's tonight and Stiles gave it to him. The classiest unlimited breadsticks in town.

Stiles had been waiting for this date all week, not just because of the food (though he was pretty excited about his chicken parm), but because of inappropriate totally not safe for work things that were going on tonight. Just knowing what was going on in Derek's pants right now was making him all giddy and excitable.

It'd be kind of weird just saying they were on a date for dirty stuff. So Stiles chose to pretend they were celebrating him removing the bandage off his new tattoo. He was wearing short sleeves and no other layers for once and kept glancing down at the French wrapped around his wrist every few minutes.

Derek was shifting in his seat, trying and failing to pay attention to the classy menu. So, so classy.

"I know that," he said. "My dad's gonna freak out."

"He'd still use it as an excuse to lecture me," Stiles pointed out. "He'll use any excuse once he sees my wrist."

"I've already got one tacky tattoo," Stiles said. "It's enough to last me a lifetime."

"But it's so adorable" Derek drawled, looking at him over his menu. "I think you should get two more wolves. And a moon."

"Bite me," he said. "You should get the next tacky tattoo."

"Only if you hold the blowtorch," Derek replied sweetly.

"Oh god I forgot about that," he said. "Never mind, don't do that."

Derek rolled his eyes, but reached over to grab Stiles' hand on the table. "Don't worry. I'd have Cora and Jack do it."

"It was really gross when I saw you do it to Scott," he said. "Other you, I mean."

"Perks of being a werewolf," Derek replied, sitting back and rolling his eyes for real.

"I'd be tattoo-less if I had to go through that to get one," Stiles said. "Werewolf or not. I'd puke."

"I have a weak stomach when it comes to gross stuff."
